It was a normal day on Pride U’s campus. It was a nice day out. The sun was out despite the cold temperatures and it wasn’t snowing so there was no real ice threat on sidewalks. This meant that anyone and everyone was either out running, walking, biking or skating to class, just trying to enjoy the weather and get by. 

Of course, the workload didn’t really pay attention to how nice the weather was, so Kim was stuck in the library and her room for most of the day trying to get projects done. As she looked out her window at the nice weather, she sighed, she’d hit a wall on her assignment so it was time to change gears and come back to it later. What did Kim decide to do? Go for a run, of course. You try having all this built up strength and energy while you’re trying to focus on a pen you could snap in half with your pinkies. 

She got ready, tanktop and joggers on, headphones in (but not on), red hair tucked neatly (for now) in a ponytail. She exited the dorms and began a light jog through the center of campus, dodging bikes that got in her way or rang their little bells at her. Her eyes lingered on people sitting on benches and talking to one another, she wouldn’t really get in the zone and focus until she got out of campus and into the trails, for now her music was turned off. 

She continued jogging, before she heard another ding of a bell, this time about to come headon. Unfortunately, there was someone in its path that was definitely not moving out of the way fast enough given the velocity that that bike was going. There was no way it would stop in time. She pushed off of one foot hard, sprinting forward and in between people with a surge of energy, grabbing the girl and pulling her out of the way. Problem was, it was a little too forceful so she immediately had to grab her and pull her into her body, crouching down over her slightly as if she was sort of dipping her.
