Oh so this is actually really horrible for people with religious/scrulpulous ocd too

there was a good post abt this on my dash but it had reblogs turned off so i will just sayy that i absolutely fucking hate this trend of pronouns becoming some sort of gender categories like especially this additions of "A he/they" "A she/her" like that doesn't mean anything... i know it sorta started as a joke among actual trans/gnc ppl i think but it's just doing too much damage to be funny like now there's well meaning cis ppl who've "learned" abt pronouns like this n i see introduction posts that are like "name: alice gender: she/her" like u don't understand shit that's not what it means oh my goddd it pisses me off so bad "gotta get myself one of those he/theys 😍" and what are u gonna do when the he/they in question is a femme lesbian. what then. we've literally made no progress. blowing up everyone who's contributed to this in my mind over and over
