#killjoy slang

The last shots of the dead. Usually towards their killer(s). Most often used to refer to killjoys killed by dracs.

AKA: BLIswatters, swatters

Killjoys who spread viruses too or otherwise hack bli fly cameras via various exploits. Some are mechanical and based on preexisting bugs, example: death spirals (in which they follow one another, provided they're in follow mode.), bright lights to confuse them, or magnets. magnets are an easy one. Some choose to be more technical, viruses that just shut them down in droves, or disable recording capabilities quietly.

The hue of one's skin when covered in a thin layer of dust and dry dirt from the less sandy parts of the zones, appearing similar to an actual tan. Sometimes refers to dirty leather, most commonly in the context of motorcycle gear.

As always, none of this is cannon, but you’re free to use it if you wish. If any of these words do have a meaning in the cannon feel free to tell me so I can change them.

Disconnected;

When someone sort of disconnects from reality and into their own head, usually after a very bad experience. “He disconnected a while back.”

Doe-eyed;

An insulting way of calling someone weak and naive. Usually used on people who are new to the Zones. “Look at all these doe-eyed batt-rats, is it just me or are they getting stupider?”

Haywire;

When someone gets paranoid to the point of borderline insanity. They make up conspiracies that they fully believe are true, believe even the most unassuming people could be out to get them on very little or no evidence whatsoever and often lash out violently at these people with very little provocation. “What the fuck are you doing have you gone completely haywire?!”

Sour Apple;

As I have more time since exams are finished, I can now get onto proofreading the Killjoy Dictionary. I've been putting it off because, in all honesty, I have to sit in near complete silence (maybe with music in the background) with a text-to-speech reading out the 15,486 word document, occasionally pausing to make corrections. But I'm working more closely with it now.

I am still accepting requests, I will inform when I'm closing requests. If you're making a request, I ask you do the following: -Put it in an accessible format. By this I mean "[Word]: [Description (as detailed as need be)]". I ask you to do this because I don't want to misunderstand what you are saying and incorrectly copy it out. -If you think that the word may be a little difficult to understand/interpret, feel free to put an example. You don't need to, just do it if you want to. -Please tell me if you do or do not want credit. I don't care if you give me fifty terms or one, I will give you credit if you ask me to. -It's best if you tell me what category you think the word fits best in.
