As the soft afternoon light fluttered in through the open window Taliesin began to clean off the empty tables. He knew that it wasn’t his job, in fact he had just recently hired someone to do just that, but somehow he always ended up gravitating towards it. It was mindless and menial work; something to occupy the mind when it wandered too far into places that should not be approached. Just as he was cleaning off the corner booth, the door bell ran and his head lifted to say, “Sorry we’re cl--” when he stopped, a bright smile instead to replace his words. Jokingly he said, “It’s about time you came. I thought you’d blown me off again.” Throwing the slightly damp towel over his shoulder, sure to leave a mark on his button down shirt. killiandarque

“Hello?” Matt called, panic rising in his voice. Reaching the teacher’s door, he knocked rapidly, but did not await an answer before pushing it open. “Professeur Darque, êtes vous là?”
