“Shush, Ole.” Dorian chided softly as the demon babbled about something. He had gone and gotten his partner sloppy drunk and was now carrying him up toward the penthouse apartment. The incubus was clung around him like a koala and was whispering dirty things in his ear. “You’re too drunk for any of that right now, pretty boy.” Dorian turned his head, catching the soft lips in a kiss hoping it would sate him for now. 

The door clicked open and then shut behind them as the vampire walked toward his bedroom. “You’re just going to sleep it off.” Dorian chuckled as he tried to untangle himself from the brunet and set him down on the bed. 

The little bell chimed the moment someone came in to the store, and Lucius looked up to see the incubus, smiling at his regular customer, he tilted his head and watched him walk around the counters. “Are you here for your usual? You know I have just mixed a new batch of moisturiser I’m sure you will love. Lavender is the baseline for it, attractive to most species.” he said and smiled to him. 

Dorian was slumped in his office chair, a sour look on his face as his eyes glanced over all the paperwork scattered before him. He was frustrated to say the least, this case was going no where and it was bothering the shit out of him. It was annoying him enough that he had called for Oleksy, though maybe for more than just fixing. Dor was tense and craving the demon that he could never stay away from for very long. They both seemed to feed each other’s needs, fitting together like jagged puzzle pieces. Honestly, the pair were dangerous together but Dorian need to be sated in more ways than one right now. 

“Took you long enough.” The vampire huffed as he felt another presence in the room. He was carving a little slit in the joint of his desk with his letter opener, not looking up at first to check if it even was Oleksy or what state he was in as he just started talking. “This case is ridiculous. I’m going to need your help with it. A lot of help actually. I don’t think I can compel a whole jury to get this to win and I would rather not place my bed on my ability to compel a whole room. 

Ah, Fantendo wiki. The place where dreams don’t come true but by god they put in the work anyways. I’ve always been enamored with its community and culture so every now and then I get the urge to draw some of its many characters. Top and Bottom row have my own spins on the designs, while the middle row have been presented as-is.

Ricardo growled lowly as he paced back and forth in the alleyway that Nathan had pulled him into. “I could have just killed him.” The demon practically hissed as he stalked past he wolf. “It wouldn’t have even been hard to do.” Ricky pointed out, gesturing angrily at Nate. He was obviously pissed the other had pulled him away from the situation but it was clear that he wasn’t mad at the Alpha, but more trying to release his pent up aggression. 

“Next time you let me fucking kill them, you got it?”

Kemuel wasn’t sure what prompted it--either his arrival, drugs, alcohol, or pure emotions were at play. All he knew was that the moment he opened the door to let Robert in, the human lunged himself atop the demon with arms tight around Kemuel’s sides and his head buried into the fallen’s navy shirt. 

He stumbled back a step and gathered himself and Robert, closing the door with his free hand as one combed through the scientist’s curls. Fingers ran along the waves of brown until he met soft flesh of Robert’s neck, only to wander lower and cup his cheek. He hugged Robert’s waist, tilting his head as worry blossomed and proliferated within him.

What had happened? Was something wrong?

“Robert?” he asked out, voice soft and trailing off as a nervous smile appeared.

LIGHTER :   my  muse  pulls  out  a  lighter  and  lights  it  for  your  muse  to  use  to  light  their  cigarette.

Smoking’s not his way to wind down for an evening, but when he’s found hanging around with a werewolf, it’s the kind of thing needed so he doesn’t go insane. Joshua plucked a cigarette from his pack, then waited as Nathan flicked the lighter and a flame danced between them. He held the end to the warmth, pulling it away to take a slow drag. Joshua’s eyes flickered from wolf to the church’s steps as cars glide in the distance.

“Do you know what others would think, seeing a pastor and a priest smoking?” he asked in an amused tone, holding back his annoyance with wolves. Father Nathan had offered him a lighter, the very least he could do was behave.

Back at his apartment, Robert grew to be a frequent presence. It started out with the drunken man carried off to Kemuel’s abode, then a handful of ‘sober’ meetups later on that involved Kemuel testing out his social skills while Robert tested his own curiosity for all things supernatural. Of course, Kemuel never divulged the big secret of his ‘birth’ as a demon, per se. Only Ricky knew of such.

He intended to keep it that way, but time was the true dictator in this case. He sat down on the couch beside the tired scientist, cup of water in hand while the dark sky of Cyanide curtained the windows and the tv’s backlight screen illuminated the room. It was turned down, sufficing as white noise for demon and man.

It looked as though Robert began sleeping. The man’s heartbeat dropped to an even pace, while soft breaths whispered in the tv’s noise. Kemuel smiled over, adjusting the tan blanket he spread on the couch until it covered Robert up to his shoulders. He hesitated at first, gauging what was and wasn’t proper, until the demon at last pressed his lips to Robert’s head in a warm kiss.

“Sleep well, I am sure you deserve it.”
