Seth tilted his head, it’s started.

He attempted to suppress his grin but he figured he looked more stupid trying to hide it than actually doing it. So allowed himself to exhale an airy laugh that could be construed as a sigh. A sharp inhale as he nodded rapidly in excitement.

"Okay-" long exhale, "okay-" deep inhale, "okay… you!” he exclaimed as he pointed a finger at her, “You just made my day,” he let out a proper laugh as his hand dropped, “tell me everything, did you hide it properly? Do you need me to help you with something? Was it a man? Did he deserve it? What did you do it with?!”

At first, I had to admit, I was all "Bitch is using Sophia Bush...Sophia Bush is my fucking soulmate and spirit animal....dat Bitch!" Hahaha but then I got over it. Please don't feel discouraged. “So you thought it would be good idea to just run into the shop, get what you need, and run back out again?” She spoke to the stranger whom she had just rescued from a bunch of Growlers surrounding them.

When all had been said and done, Justice initially hadn't wanted to make friends. She wanted to keep to herself, keep her mouth shut, just...live and fight for her family. She didn't need to worry about anyone else, anyone other than them. Until that night on their way to Atlanta, humanity smiled down upon her and her hungry brother. She met Carol and Sophia...and her shit husband Ed...and her outlook slowly began to alter. 

Through the years of their fight for existence, she'd grown to cherish the people she had around her, even if some were more welcome than others. 

Her friendship with Angel, for instance, had grown quite quickly, to her surprise and utter fear. It was just another person to add to the blacklist, if she lost them, she could potentially go insane, much like her father had lost it when her mother had been taken from them. 

Even so, Justice found herself depending on Angel like a sister from another mister. She needed her friendship like she needed water most days. There was some sort of affirming nature about it, someone who understood her in this realm who didn't get to know her from the last and that, in Justice's mind, was good. She had advantage of creating a new life here in this shit-hole existence. And though she would always be that over-achiever from King County High School, she used it far more to her advantage here. 

Here she didn't have to worry about peer pressure, well not as much, nor the necessity to learn some random cheer for the next big basketball or football game. She didn't have chemistry homework or an English paper to write. She had her chores to stick to, a family to keep warm, and safe, healthy and happy and a best friend that meant more to her than those prior...she was real, far from the plastics that devoured their social circle back home. 

And that is why she found shelter and serenity in the relationship with Angel. 

That particular day Justice had been having a hard time sleeping. She felt her nose drip, her head was getting warmer, she feared she may be falling ill and yet she hadn't the respiratory issues that came along with the sickness wandering around. This was a good sign, and yet she still felt like shit. 

Wiping her brow with the back of her hand to free it from the beads of sweat, she batted her eyes attempting to stay focused on the peas she was gathering into a bowl.
