Hi! Is it okay to ask what happened to atb?
my life was a mess, my keyboard was a mess, i wasn’t sure about some plot lines but mostly the first one. everything is kinda-sorta-all solved now, so i just need time to write and it should be with you by the end of the year! fingers crossed or whatever you do in your country (the german just tighten their fists?? weirdos)
i wish i had time and energy to actually draw again... till then have some wolfstar aesthetics
who do you relate to the most in atb?
welp, the pups tbh. mostly for their flaws (anxiety, paranoia about loved ones, difficulty communicating, denial, depression, etc, etc, etc,). but also & most importantly, for how hard they try to be good people in spite of everything. like james has his life figured out in atb and it’s pretty straightforward for him (pun intented) whereas the pups just. do their goddamn best through the mud. kudos to them.
please please please tell me you're working on atb!
i am! chap 12 & 13 are all drafted out, chap 14 has 8k of bare bones, and i’m currently at 11k of chap 15 trying my best at a realistic sex scene. after that there’s chap 16, editing, beta-ing, editing, and then posting. so, like, not now but at some point this year?

hello, i love the way you've been going about writing remus in kikrs and was wondering if you had any advice for writing HIV+ characters? <3
hello, thank you!! my advice is gonna be a bit boring but it’s literally what i’ve done so here goes:
research the medical facts first to get a feel for what’s real and what’s fearmongering,
listen/read up on first hand accounts from people who’ve been diagnosed - multiple accounts so you can build the best & most layered perspective,
research on the history of the illness both globally and from where the person’s born/raised/infected/diagnosed/now lives as it’s gonna really impact their day to day both medically & psychologically,
double check you’ve got the medical aspect right.
everyone who lives with a lifetime illness reacts differently so you’ve got a bit of leeway on that front! but hiv is a v specific illness which has a v specific class/sex/gay background & still to this day a v specific portrayal in media and society.
a big no-no for me would be to make it something completely ~unproblematic yknow. esp if it’s remus lupin you’re writing that boy is layers upon layers of self-hatred bc of his lycantropy so writing him being a-ok being hiv pos is like...no
