I was taken by surprise that they commissioned me for it, since well, my art is traditional. I thought people would think the datamine would be fake right away :’DYeah, when scanned it can look as though it’s pencil, especially since the paper I used doesn’t have the smoothest texture. I promise you it was all watercolour! xD

I don’t mind at all ; v ; uh, I don’t really know but I guess practice really helps, and your hands becomes more steady that way perhaps!As for knowing when you have the right amount of water on your brush, you learn that by doing it so it kinda becomes instinctual ^^ Sorry if that wasn’t too helpful though ;A;

My brother got me those while abroad so idk xDThe Daler Rowney ones I use are a little stiff and not as soft, I think. But they last a long time due to that, probably.I rarely use riggers now, but the liners do look like them. I usually get the smallest size or just a little bigger.

The second volume is still in early stages and I’m still researching a few things. I’ve even taken up Kenjutsu so that I can get an accurate feel and experience of samurai swordsmanship and how people behave in dojos :’D (also for fun but don’t tell the tax man that) I’ll be drawing it up soon, last time I only had a month to make the first book so this time I will be taking my time and making it nicer and more pages! 💪('ω'💪) thanks so much for asking about it!! <3

Mm, I don’t really have much advice to offer other than don’t use hot water to wash them or paint with, as it damages them. Keep them clean too I guess? Synthetic brush will wear out quicker than the expensive animal hair ones I heard too.
