after the monaco GP george goes back to his drivers room and sees a pufferfish flopping around on the floor and freaks the fuck out

he rushes around trying to find a container large enough to fit a fish the size of a basketball (he succeeds but i cant think of an item in the garage that would fit the requirement so just pretend with me)

because its very conveniently the monaco gp, he gets the fish back to his apartment without too much fuss

george being George researches a shitload on how to take care of a pufferfish, and ends up buying a fuckload of expensive aquarium equipment and an absolutely massive tank

meanwhile the fish, now named Dudu and temporarily living in the bathtub, is trying its absolute best to jump out of the tub and kiss george whenever he's nearby. It doesnt succeed bc it can't jump very high

once the bigass tank gets set up george finds out that you can actually play with fish!! and that dudu likes to follow his finger when he drags it across the glass of the tank

at this period of time george and max are having some kind of beef (not qatar level but theyre not happy) so george keeps complaining to dudu about it

partially because george gets attached to dudu he buys a travel tank setup and figure out the logistics of travelling with a fish, so at every race dudu is there chilling in his drivers room

whenever george tries to get someone else to help feed dudu, the fish absolutely ignores them and the food so only george can feed dudu

eventually the social media team gets wind of this and does a drivers room tour with george, of which in the background you have the fucking fish just staring at george the entire tike

this becomes a Big Gossip Thing in the paddock

max sees the video (fuckin idk kimi shows it to him or some shit) and goes huh that fish looks kinda like me

this plagues him for about a week

then a beagle shows up in his apartment that strangely has george's eyes and he figures out the whole soulmate situation by then, cue feelings realisation

max has a minor breakdown/crashout/both over this

eventually they get together!!!

one night gax stumble into george's apartment tipsy and making out like two horny teenagers

dudu jumps out of the fucking aquarium, rolls across the room and plants a fat fucking kiss on george's ankle

this whole time, dudu can survive on land (a la king's lynn farm shenanigans)
