I was overwhelmed by the show of support for the beloved Khari Parker. It was good to see some my musician peeps for the first time since the ‘quarantine’ took place, and to be in a spirited environment of unity and remembrance (mask and all). I thought about all those times I asked Khari to do a gig, record, or just yield his expertise on something...and if he was in town, he was down! He made everybody on the stage better, because his level of excellence and professionalism was always exceeding all expectations.
