#khadeja

I just found the series, and read part 1 (http://mosaicofmuslimwomen.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/friday-series-khadeja-bint-khuwaylid-part-1-early-life/) and some of part 2.  Khadeja (RA) was such an amazing woman!  She is someone I admire deeply, and do hope to learn even more about her and her life.  She was such a strong and powerful woman, but she did it with class!  I can only pray that if I am able to be half the woman she was, I would consider myself lucky!

A friend I know once said that she had met a woman who had told her that, she wanted to be be her husband's Khadeja.  That is such a beautiful thing to say, and I agree with her!  Inshallah, some day, I hope to be the same for my future husband!  I mean, I know I gush about Disney and fairytales...but THIS is the greatest love story for me, and inshallah I will be so lucky to have something even remotely close to it!  

I could go on about this forever, but I don't think there are any other words I could add to these articles.  If you have a chance, please take the time to read them.  Here are the links:
