It’s mid-December and 25 year old Tessa is headed back to her parents’ place for the first time in two years. When she arrives, she discovers that they’ve rented out the basement suite to Tessa’s high school adversary, Olive Virtue. Tensions build in the lead up the Christmas, but when the girls accidentally trap themselves in the attic while looking for decorations, something changes.

kgros is a cartoonist currently living in Vancouver, BC. Her first graphic novel, Last Night at Wyrmwood High, was published in 2015 by Cloudscape Comics (under the name Kathleen Gros). She is currently working on her second, Lunar Maladies, which updates as a weekly webcomic at lunarmaladies.com. Her third will be published by HarperCollins in 2020. Her illustration work has appeared on utility boxes around Vancouver.
