Last night I read Volume 5 of Irredeemable by Mark Waid, and this now marks the halfway point of the series and this volume in particular had quite a few revelations.
I have enjoyed reading this series, and am glad to have begun checking it out after coming across the character of the Plutonian on some YouTube posts. The characters and storytelling have been interesting.
Back to this volume, some of the revelations did actually make say out loud "holy s**t!"
With how this ended, I am wondering what will happen moving forward.
When Plutonian revealed that he knew Modeus had inhabited Samsara's body, I did wonder what was going to happen, but what did happen with him not doing anything at first was perhaps scarier than him doing something immediately. After what he did though, it looks like Modeus has plans with Survivor's brother.
With the reveal of the deal Hornet made with the Vespa for planets that the Paradigm had saved and the Vespa could conquer was rather horrifying.
However, the way that Hornet had figured out something was off about Plutonian when he asked about about his wife by name even though he never mentioned her name was a bit scary.

Last night I read Irredeemable Volume 3 by Mark Waid and this had some interesting developments and it has lead to some theories being formed.
Again it was cool to get some of the history with Plutonian and the Paradigm, as well as the Plutonian's personal history.
Looking forward to the next book, I have got volumes 4 & 5 on my to be read pile.

With Charybdis taking on a new a new identity as the Survivor and how he reacted to the press after his announcement, it felt like history repeating itself a bit with how Plutonian snapped at some people.
Learning the Plutonian's history with his first adopted family and the damage he left on them was quite something.
Qubit also seems to be going down a bit of a darker path with what he did to Encanta.
With the reveal that Bette has kept a piece Plutonian's kryptonite from their affair, it seems as though the Paradigm may have a chance against him.
Despite being an 86 year old character its kinda crazy that dick graysons best era might be right now?
dan watters nightwing run has been considered the characters best
batman and robin: year one is a vert well received prequel story about dick and bruces early relationship. which is getting a sequel soon
he hasn't done much in absolute yet but it seems like fresh and unique take on the character
he is also great in batman/superman worlds finest, another prequel story reminiscent of the silly er silver age stories.
really the only weak link seems to be new titans, which from what I heard isn't bad. but dick's writing specifically is pretty weak, though I wonder if him still being on the team is an editorial requirement over authorial intent.

It was interesting to learn more of the history between Plutonian and some of the members of the Paradigm.
I am curious as to how things will go moving forward.
