Another day exploring Yellow Creek State park. This is one of the local parks I visit often, and I’m still finding new places to fish and explore.
Benezett store campground. This is the campground we stayed in for the Elk Expo, and I like the place. It’s atv and pet friendly. Our site had had electric, and a small pavilion. It suited us well for our weekend trip and we just might return in the fall!

2018 Elk Expo in Bennezette, PA. Despite all the rain the expo was a lot of fun, and it was a very well put together event. This may have been the first Elk Expo I have attended but I’m already planning to be there again next year. Much thanks to everyone involved in making the expo happen, great job!
Dilltown to Buena Vista Furnace and beyond.
Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. Had a great hike here. The area is scenic and the trail has varied terrain. Next time I’m there I hope to get a few more miles in and really see what the trail has to offer.
