http://larancherahouston.estrellatv.com I love 101.7 fm KNTE in Bay City, Texas! (850 am KEYH in Houston) This radio station has superb music all the time, traditional Mexican music, sometimes with HARP! Beautiful melodies and harmonies, almost no talk (unless they're broadcasting sportsball) and of course, all in Spanish. As a native Texan, Mexican culture has surrounded me all my life, and in the last several years I've really embraced music from this country. As a kid, the polka sounding stuff seemed kind of comical, then in college I got this CD at the library, a harp band from Michoacán and I couldn't stop listening to it. When I started listening to Mexican radio a lot I found that in Bay City, Texas this radio station plays my favorite kind of Mexican music, so I present it to you today. They have no social media presence, I have yet to find a way to listen to them online, it is traditional to a fault lol. Hopefully it will stream online eventually. May is a shameless friend promotion month! Every day of May, through this platform I'm going to promote a business that I support and I think everyone should support. Not only do I have a fondness for these people, but they sell a quality product or service.
