"Samar ghol sa."Aidan straightened his posture. He wasn’t quite sure what the other individual present was saying, but he had some idea based on the tone. A black, scaly hard guided him to lean back against the cavern wall near which he sat, though, he couldn’t help but veer away from their clawed fingertips.The owner of said hand seemed to notice, and quickly withdrew."Daver yo." She murmured, unnaturally bright green eyes shining in the darkness. Aidan managed a weak smile."Um… It’s fine."He winced, glancing down at his leg. The gash he’d sustained earlier had been wrapped up tightly, but that wasn’t stopping the bleeding. Red stained through the material, and the boy couldn’t help but cringe at the amount that was leaking through.The lizard-girl was attentive enough to notice, and hurriedly began to unwrap the wound."So harl burth na ima phos!"Aidan wasn’t sure what she was attempting, but he didn’t feel like he had a choice. The blood loss was making him woozy, little by little. And it wasn’t like either of them could easily access help, down here. He would just have to sit still and trust what this strange person was wait what was she holding.The boy scrambled back, to the protest of the lizard girl. She’d produced a needle from her leather pouch, and had advanced on him."NO. Just - stay away!""Var mi ya!" She held up both hands, gritting her teeth in concern. "Sew! Help!"Aidan remained tense, as she quickly retrieved a thin thread from another leather pouch, and threaded it through the eye of the needle."Stitch." She muttered, gesturing to the leg. "Stitch up."The boy glanced down at the gash. It didn’t look like it was going to stop bleeding anytime soon… and the less woozy he felt down here, the better.Still, he turned away and closed his eyes.It wasn’t the pain that bothered him. Just… sharp things."Okay… just do it."It was a quick process. She had to stop halfway through to wipe away more blood, but within a few minutes, she’d bitten off the remaining thread and begun to re-wrap the dirtied bandage around Aidan’s leg."Mar da phos?" She inquired, as the boy glanced up at her."Uh…"He flexed his foot slightly. The stitches held, and he sighed."I… think I’m okay.""Okay." She nodded, looking relieved. Aidan let her pull him to his feet, stumbling a little from the lack of blood circulation. She pulled his arm over her shoulder to support him as a makeshift crutch."Na ima dar." The girl smiled. Aidan forced himself to smile back, and hope it looked a little more genuine this time."Uh… thank you."The two continued their trek through the cavern, walking further into the black.
