Warner’s POV

I glare at James, who is pulling on my arm.

“Not now James, I’m busy,” I say sternly.

“But you’re always busyyyyy,” James whines.

“Thats because I always have work to do.”

“But why?”

Ella walks into the room and looks at us sternly. “What is going on here?” She asks.

“James here wanted my help getting revenge on his very best brother in the whole wide world,” both James and Ella shoot me withering glares at that. I clear my throat. “But as I was saying, I am quite busy right no—“

Ella puts her hands on her hips. “Busy doing what exactly, Aaron?”

“Exactly,” James nods, “Juliette understands,”

Ella walks over and takes my hands. “Its good to have bonding time with your siblings” she says quietly, stressing the plural.

I sigh. “If you say so, love. I’m coming, James. Now what did you want me to do?”

James whispers something in my ear. 

My eyes widen. “You want me to say what now?”

Ella smirks. “Run along now. Bonding time, remember?”

Adam’s POV

I wake up groggily to the sound of someone calling my name. Well, kind of my name.

“Wake up, Addie,” a voice calls. My groggy brain thinks its James’ voice.

“Shut up James. And don’t call me that.”

“Huh?” Another voice comes from farther away, at the doorway maybe.

My eyes fly open.

I let out a very unmanly screech, and rub my eyes, because was that Warner?

And did he look embarrassed?

Ah. 

Well, not embarrassed any more.

He tilts his head. “What’s the matter, Addie? Scared I’ll tell Kishimoto about this little nickname of yours?”

I glare at him, sitting up. “Did James teach you that? And dont you even dare tell Kenji,” I scowl at him even harder. “Why are you standing next to my bed like a stalker?”

Warner shrugs. “James let me in.”

“JAMES!” I yell.

James walks into the room, chuckling. “Payback, big bro!” He screeches.

Kenji appears at the doorway. 

Oh, crap.

“What’s all the commotion here?” Kenji asks, flashing a smile. 

“Oh, nothing really. We were just giving—“

“James,” I try to cut him off.

James ignores me. “We were just giving Addie here a pleasant wake up surprise.”

“Addie?” Kenji asks, bewildered. Then he sees James staring at me in triumph and a slow smile spreads across his face. “Ohhh. I get it… But just making sure, are we talking pleasant  like that haircut I tried to give Warner—“ Warner winces, “or pleasant like actually pleasant. Because whichever one it is, I fully expect to be included next time.”

James gives a solemn nod.

Juliette comes inside the room. “Ok, ok, thats enough.”

Kenji puts on a look of exaggerated disappointment. “Aww, but we were having fun, princess,” Kenji says.

“I think I’m going to have to agree with Kishimoto on this one,”

Juliette smiles and gives Warner a kiss.

James makes a gagging motion at Kenji, who snickers in return. 

“Anyway, I think Addie needs a break,” Juliette says, a smirk on her face.

I groan. “There better not be anyone else calling me that today.”

“But then Lily, and Ian, and Brendan, and Winston, and Alia and everyone else would be so disappointed” James pouts.

“Especially Alia.” Kenji says, giving me a pointed look.

I feel my face heat up slightly.
