I think the whole thing with the joker is that heās supposed to make you uncomfortable. Heās nuts.
see i get that and i definitely feel the level of creep theyāre going for, but thereās just something else there that they arenāt going for, and thatās where iām feeling extra uncomfortable. Ā like he surpasses the creep factor they wanted and just goes too far? Ā at least for me, personally. Ā it makes me miss the dark knight trilogy even more, because even though that third movie missed the mark big time, the first two were exactly what batman movies should be. Ā those movies raised the bar so high and now dcās falling short of that level and itās making their movies seem even more disappointing because we know what they could be making instead. Ā weāve seen dc at the top of their game and now theyāre just... not.
that being said, suicide squad does look really good. Ā hopefully the jokerās not in it too much (pls).
