Keldorin Lumont’s Weapons
A gladiator’s longsword wielded by some of the pit fighters who train in Halatali. The copper blade has stained into a wavering, splotchy blue from the blood of creatures it has been used against.
Keldorin’s first sword. Given to him by, and used to wrest his freedom from, those who enslaved him in his youth. He has kept it in decent repair, for the near twenty seven years, since he first lifted it. The blade has only recently seen anything but its scabbard, and the closet it is stored within. Keldorin carries his Carnage Sword with him when he assume the armored guise of The Knight Dogsbane, staple company of one Sylph-like Miqo’te who goes by Oleander.
(Mighty) Thunderstrike
Once this sword was a beautiful Ishgardian broadsword, crafted specifically to be wielded as a two handed weapon by a more diminutive individual. In its present form, it is a twisted shadow of the original craftsmanship. The whole of the sword has been warped by the multitude of energies it has been exposed to in combat. Aetherial in its nature, and spiritbound to its original owner, it will respond in full to only one. Only a hint of the Umbral Lightning bound to the blade is visible, when held by any but its true master.
Keldorin only carries Tonnerre. It's owner, Seya Braisaux has all but renounced the blade (though Keldorin silently hopes she will take it up once again). He suspects the blade was turned to his care to be destroyed, instead he has studied the thing in hopes of uncovering some modicum of the mysteries surrounding Seya. In his hands, the blade offers some additional capabilities than a standard blade; its aetherial properties playing handicap to his own sickness. Though he has not had reason to take up the blade in self defense, he has carried it with him through various travels. He will continue to do so, until Seya is ready to wield it once more.
