atsuro absolutely had a crush on him back in middle school. his hero. keisuke was probably entirely Oblivious bc he is like that (get my boy some confidence, please). hell they havent seen each other in years and yet atsuro is like “thats one of my best friends :)” so clearly they were close. 

getting keisuke out of his Anxiety Pit takes some work, but atsuro is determined - its his turn to save the boy who saved him. 

keisuke probably doesnt have a great home life imo so probably drops out to take custody of his sister at the soonest opportunity. It’s not easy to make ends meet, he works a lot of late hours, but atsuro contributes his programming money and they manage to put together enough to buy a (somewhat shitty) apartment. its not the best, but its the best they can do, and you know what? sometimes thats enough.

i tend to hc keisuke more as ace/aro but he does love atsuro in his own way.
