But it all started with finding a nice, wide ravine nearby the carrot field. It gave me inspiration to build something Iâve always wanted to attempt. âJust Carrotsâ tree house interior. From top to bottom: The first two shots are of the basement platform with tool chests, building materials, and storage or mob parts. Access to upper levels on the opposite side of the trunk. Next two photos show the main room from each of the two balcony doorways. The last shot is of the bedroom up the stairs from that balcony doorway. The crafting table is under one of the chests... which was then switched with an anvil. Blocks are stored next to the furnace, and food and armor next to the bed. No enchanting area here, but I might add a brewing station somewhere. Next up: The balcony views.
Doing some morning chores at my âMinecraft In The Morningâ house. Just upgraded to 1.13.1 and took a swim in the river. Very ready to go through my check list and tour the world to make any necessary fixes. First though need to milk the cows, gather eggs, harvest melons, and finish that pig pen.
BTW, check out âMinecraft In The Morningâ if you havenât. It is a discontinued Minecraft series by TainMarr that started sometime in 2012-2013. Very relaxing...
I played on the same world seed for awhile and ended up with this house and barn, which is only slightly similar to what TainMarr built. But since that was a 1.6 world, I long searched for the right spot to rebuild it in Keitharnia. Finally, I found a spot far to the east of The Commonwealth. I had to do some landscaping and fill in a wide spot in the river to make my front yard, but I do love this area. Now it is my primary llama farm. Still trying to collect all the llama/carpet types.
The only rule here (other than to relax) is that I canât bring anything into the area from Keitharnia at-large. So when I arrive at the portal in a nearby volcano(tm) I have to change into local garb and empty my inventory... very Star Trekian.
New workstation maker space design. I can reach all of the trunks when standing on the crafting table. There are three anvils below the central pillars with the item frames.
The brewing area is cool, but needs some work. There is a hidden trunk under the floor above a water source for ingredients and water bottles (the trap door is just visible). I have yet to accidentally throw a water bottle into the pool after filling it with a full inventory, but there is still time.
Mesa abandoned mine exploring, led to high XP, led to need for enchanting area, led to upgrading the run-down house base, led to needing books for enchanting area, led to search for cows, led to castle construction on overlooking bluff. Eventually Iâll actually mine some hardened clay, which was the original problem.

Lonely mesa homesteading. Just me and my 16 doggies.
Part 3: The ranch house. Some final areas are the map room off the library. This is also as recent as the master bedroom. I need to place to hang my maps and plan conquests. The map at the end is the smallest scale, but most unfinished. (I just realized the island map is really out of date - no stables, slaughter house, or docks)
On the opposite side of the storage room/library is access to more tunnels, the branch mine and the nether portal. I also added a general mob farm recently, but then had to upgrade it for the new smaller Creepers. Works great as long as the upper trapdoor is kept closed.
I actually retired the branch mine awhile ago because Iâd mined out my target goal... three floors in a 100x100x30 block area. Overflow storage for the mine is found under the stairs.
The iron doors in the distance led to the ravine system and a zombie mob farm. I believe that dungeon was the only one I found in the entire area. Iâm still working to interconnect tunnels, these are mostly disconnected from the farm building network.
