This simply could not be happening.. It was not very often that Grace Carleton was frightened. In fact, she could perhaps count on one hand the amount of times that it had happened. But in this moment she was as frightened as she could ever remember being since the night she had been turned. The place that was supposed to be a sanctuary of sorts for her kind was under attack, and she could not find her Gina anywhere. Plus, she was stuck in the clinic. A place that, she would never admit to anyone, made her quite uncomfortable. Keeping busy would help, but what was she to do?

Taking a breath, the vampiress left her seat in what she assumed was the waiting room, when the bond that attached her to her beloved progeny seemed to sound like an alarm. Turning on a stilletto heel, Grace saw Keith enter the clinic. Covered in blood. "Darling!" She cried, rushing to him. "Whatever happened! Are you alright.."

Either he was losing his touch or Grace happened to be more elusive than she’d had him get used to, but this..had to be but the third time he showed up at an empty place. Well...mostly, in this case. Making his way through the back of the main floor, the vampire spotted her: A young girl with brown hair and a phone on her hand, which she was using to play some song apparently. And perhaps he should have just exited, gone out to see where his maker was, but somehow curiosity got the better of him.

So yes...he stayed put where he was, not actually waiting for the human to sing or..do whatever she intended on doing- “Excuse me..but you haven’t seen Grace Carleton around here, have you?” What? He had plenty of stuff to do..and he wanted to know what she was doing there.

Nova didn’t really understand why she was being so picky. Really, at this point any song would do. But still, she stood there for what seemed like far too long until she finally found something that seemed to speak to her heart at the moment. Something that would give her strength at a time when she really needed it. And apparently she had taken a little too much time... Because before she had even started she was already being interrupted.

Sighing, Nova lifted her hazel gaze to the male. Who looked like he had just stepped out of some film noire’ bullshit. Arching a brow, she pinned him with a gaze and shook her head. “I’ve been on the island for like..five minutes. I don’t even know who the fuck that is” She replied, as if such a thing should have been obvious. 

He’s changed, for the better. When I first met him I would have said to his face that he wasn’t nearly good enough for Sabrina. But now I see how good they are for each other. And I like it. I could even maybe like him.

I’ll still make him laxative brownies if he ever hurts her though..

Dhani entered the office a short time later, hoping Keith was in a good mood, which Dhani figured he was since his boss had shot him a text and not been shouting for him or storming through the club. He’d been busy, handling a new shipment of liquor in the stock room.
