✖ - Inspiraion for Eirik’s talent in music and guitar playing comes from my sister who is able tolern to play a song just by hearing, another source would be a good friend of mine who actually has a perfect pitch and is able to compose a song or a melody whithin a minute as well as write poems which Eirik possesses to.
✖ - A his first developement, Eirik was roughly inspired by Holden Caulfield from Catcher in The Rye.
✖ - I love astrology and zodiac since so many of my characters have a great influence of them in the personalities. Eirik is no exception and I even generated a whole birthchart and explained every planet and Eirik’s behaviour accordingly. Shortly, beside his sun sign being Taurus, his Rising is Scorpio while his Moon sign is being Leo.
✖ - I knew someone in real life who had hypothyroidism, I gave it a reaserch and discovered hyperthyroidism, thus I wanted to add it to Eirik in order to explain why he is so thin despite eating too much ( if he is in the mood to )
✖ - When developing his character, i wanted people to relate to him, since then I was introduced into mental illnesses and learned how serious they are, thus took that in mind and wanted to convert it into this characcter. He is struggling with his mental and physical health issues, gender, struggling to fit in and so on.
✖ - His deceased father, Bjorn, was based off on my deceased grandfather to whom I was very attached to, kind of accidentally and subonciously to be honest.
✖ - I knew someone irl who is thin as a stick but is able to lift and throw a a lot thicker person affordlessly liek WOAH and is great with parkour/free running, so yeah I applied that on Eirik too.
✖ - I always liked the anti-hero and loser tropes in a character, in the opposition of the popular ‘ strong character’ tropes nowadays. I always was thinking differently and going the opposite way than what most ( not all ) around me does. I always preffered and found overly flawed, struggling and complex characters more interesting.

“Aasjdkfs DICK ON TOAST!! FENNecmon I’m gonna fucking skin you alive!,” Then goes to bathroom and removes it with acetone. Everyone comes out alive, thankfully.

♢ What’s an AU that you think just won’t work with your muse?
I don’t really believe any AUs “wouldn’t work,” because with enough work and creativity, you can take the time to figure out how your character would “fit.” Back story always has to be modified slightly for AUs; you just have to figure out how that universe and character would interact and influence each other. But that being said, I have never been able to quite figure out how the ever-popular mermaid AU would work with Hikari. I lose my patience.
