Happy First Day of Spring everybody!Â
Lübeck, Germany (reprise)
I found some more pictures of Lübeck, without the rain this time! The Rathaus is so beautiful. I wish I had those blueprints to take home with me ;)
One word - Marzipan! Lübeck is one of the main cities known for this confectionery, and here I am at one of the Niederegger Marzipan shops!Â
Inside they had marzipan molded into all different shapes, sizes, and with different fillings and mix-ins. You could have an entire fruit basket made out of marzipan, or even a turkey dinner! I wonder if they would consider Keflings as a shape? Then we could be cute and sweet, ha ha!
This is the great Lübecker Dom. They started building it in 1173 by Henry the Lion. It is SO massive, what an awesome brick structure.Â
A bit late, but Merry Christmas from Hamburg, Germany! Christmas markets are amazing - Frohe Weinachten!Â
