Had this idea in the back of my mind for a longg while, sooo yk how izuku lost his powers at the end of the anime? what if reader has a reversal quirk or some similar shit and is a doctor who basically discovers a way to get izuku's one for all back and now after YEARSSS of watching his friends be heroes, HE CAN FINALLY GET BACK TO BEING ONE (yes ik the ironman suite exists but like do u see the vision)
how would he react?? maybe reader and izuku are already married or it develops into a realationship???

I don't really write for deku bc he's one of my least favourite characters (bakugo stan things), so I hope It was in character :3
You're in the backyard, practicing your magic on a piece of paper. You had scribbled on it, placed some bottles of chemicals, and some candles around it, and now you were trying to reverse the scribbles. Plain and simple, right? Wrong. Your quirk wasn't that easy. Sure, you could do magic, but just barely. It was mostly science. And despite being a scientist, you really couldn't grasp this spell/experiment (?)
It was one of the easiest in theory, yet you still couldn't do it.
You focus, thinking of erasing the scribbles.
After staying like that for a few minutes, you start to see the scribbles slowly fade away! ... before your husband opens the door and startles you.
"Hey angel! What are you doing?" He asks sweetly as he walks up and takes in the scene.
"None of your business." You mumble, trying to focus back on the paper, this time closing your eyes and waving your hands, hoping to conjure the magic faster.
A purple cloud begins to form around the piece of paper, but Izuku doesn't seem to notice, and decides exactly right now is the right time to vent to you.
"Y'know, baby, I haven't really haven't been feeling myself lately, angel. I mean, I love teaching, but seeing all of my friends enjoy being a hero without me? It kinda hurts, you know?"
"Plus, you know those kids in my class? The annoying ones? They keep saying some numbers at me...? Its really disrupting the class. If it weren't for the names being different, I'd think they'd be related to Kaminari." Izuku complains. "Anyway, do you know what six seven means? Because I really have no idea. Is it like... A sex thing?"
Your lips twitch upwards as you hold back your laugh.
"And they keep calling me son. And saying they're crying. Like.. Oh, son, I'm crying. or something like that."
You can't hold it anymore. You laughed so hard that the purple cloud around the piece of paper immediately transferred to Izuku.
"Huh?!" He yells, trying to wave the smoke away from him. "Wait, what are you doing?"
"Oh, shit." You panic as you try your best to focus on the paper, but all you can think of is Izuku asking what six seven means.
A small purple explosion goes off, knocking the both of you back.
You groan, looking up at Izuku from across the yard.
"Oh, my gosh! I'm sorry, honey! I really am! You just shouldn't distract me like that. Do you feel okay?" You ask, rubbing the back of your neck.
Izuku doesn't reply and just looks down at his hands. He recognizes this feeling. "Huh..?"
He sticks his hand out before flicking towards your neighbors backyard (so he doesn't hurt you just in case anything happens)
BOOM!
Well, great. Now, there's a giant hole in your fence.
And Izuku's fingers are broken.
And Izuku's crying. Both from pain and happiness.
But it worked. It wasn't even your intention, but it worked. You brought his quirk back.
"Angel! You-.. You! You..." He tried to muster up a sentence through the waterworks but couldn't.
He tries to get up to hug you but accidentally sets off his quirk,
BOOM AGAIN!
,breaking his hand and putting a crater in your backyard.
he's realized he can't get up, at least not yet. He needs to remember how to control this quirk.
