It was quick, barely a kiss, just something he stole in passing, but he pulled back almost immediately, brows knitting.

You blinked, confused. “What?”

You let out a small laugh. “Oh. Yeah, I changed it. It’s peach now.”

when i say i’m busy with school, it doesn’t secretly mean please pressure me to write more. it means i’m literally busy. i have deadlines, exams, responsibilities. a whole life outside of this app. shocking, right?

writing and making smaus are something i love and enjoy, not something i owe anyone. and when people act entitled to my work, when they message me demanding longer chapters or faster updates, it’s not motivation. it’s just disrespectful.

writers are not a machine. they are not your content dispenser. they are a person. fanfics take time, energy, and a lot of mental space. and if you can’t respect that, you don’t deserve the things writers create.

so if the urge to complain about chapter length or update speed ever hits you, here’s a wild idea: don’t. go read another fic. go touch some grass. go outside. i’m not here to entertain you on command.

i write when i can. i post when i can. and if that’s a problem for you, unfollow me. i won’t lose sleep over it.
