Day 1274 - I keep meaning to add more variety to the photos I take when volunteering at the zoo...but then today this was greeting me and it was too adorable to pass up. ;)

Day 1204 - Had a little company today while I washed windows during my volunteer shift. :)

Day 1090 - Did you know that Happy Hollow keeps bees? Or that we sell the honey to raise money for gorilla conservation? Tonight at our volunteer meeting I learned all about beekeeping.

Day 1253 - A few someones were keeping an eye on me while I was volunteering at Happy Hollow this morning.

Day 1225 - We hosted a fundraiser at the zoo this evening, so after I finished my normal volunteer routine in the morning I went around cleaning up cobwebs  and such with this fine device. 

Day 1190 - Someone enjoyed tearing into his enrichment for the day. Just glad I'm not the volunteer who has to clean up after it tomorrow ;)

Day 1155 - Happy Zoo Lovers day! (yes it's a thing) My love of the opportunity zoos provide to connect with and inspire stewardship of wildlife is why I'll spend a rainy Saturday morning like this one volunteering.

Day 1141 - This little lady was being quite vocal while I was in the aviary cleaning during my volunteer shift.
