Indraadip Dasgupta’s first movie is now on hoichoi
Indraadip Dasgupta’s debut in directorial venture Kedara is now available on the Bengali OTT platform hoichoi for all the viewers. The movie is a narration of exploration of ennui, stagnancy and its transformation. In this movie Narasingha is a lonely old man who is master in old dying art form ventriloquism. He spends his maximum time making up conversations with people from his past by mimicking their voices. Â
The cast is a short one but a steller one. Kaushik Ganguly potraied the character of Narasingha. Rudranil Ghosh as Narasingha’s friend and Bidipta Chakraborty as Narasingha’s wife who left him a long time back. Â
The music of the movie also played an incredible role. Film does not have any songs but the background music by Arijit Sigh is composed with such care that it seems like a character in itself. While keeping dark theme in the mind and Kaushik Ganguly’s outstanding performance made this film a must watch.
