Magpiestar has been the leader of Dawnclan since she led them away from the Riverlands deeper in the foothills of Mount Sleettop. She was made a leader incredibly young (24 moons) and is heavily affected by this, becoming steadily tired with her duties but devoted to her clan. She sees her younger, brighter-spirited self in Keaflight and gave her the same warriors suffix in accordance with this.

Keaflight was born as a rouge on the outskirts of two-leg place and was the only survivor of a small litter. She became known by the other strays by the nickname Scraps in reference to her skill at both scavenging food and picking fights, although her roguishly charming behaviour also earned her several friends and acquaintances. At the age of 15 moons, Scraps left two-leg place along with her close friend Felix in search of greener pastures. They eventually unknowingly reached the fringes of Dawnclan territory, where after sometime they encountered Sleetstar, when Scraps attacked her over a prey dispute. Sleetstar was impressed by Scrap’s courage and skill and invited her and Felix to join Duskclan, personally mentoring her. Keaflight became a warrior at 20 moons. She’s fiercely protective of her clan and a strong supporter of Sleetstar, never forgetting how she brought her and Felix, now named Batstrike, into the clan. Keaflight is a well-liked and respected warrior recognised for her strength in battle.
