This is gonna long, but bear with me :)

It has happened, Goblin’s last episode officially ended yesterday. Until now the hollowness inside me is there, I’m still in a bit denial that it’s all over. It was worth it, everything was worth it. Sticking to the drama, avidly watching for two months, crying over it, laughing, stressing over what will happen next. Everything was worth it, the ending is worth it. Funny thing though, my friends are like “how in hell are you so calm right now?” ”How are you not flipping every flip-able thing around you proximity”   Maybe because I’m not mad or angry about the ending. Am I sad though? Yes, devastated, I am a wreck right now, I am literally choking back my tears.  Do I think there are different ways the drama could’ve ended? Yes of course. Was this the ending that I wanted? That I cannot answer, because I never really asked for a specific one. Only a satisfying one where I could see our lovely characters smile. I get the people who are not satisfied, or was/is disappointed with the ending, i really do, I understand their sentiment, we all want that happy ending for them, Sunny and Yeo got it, got reborn and stuff, why can’t Shin and Eun Tak too? It is sad that Eun Tak had to die, and that Shin had/have to wait for her to come back and be reincarnated. I am sad too, It’s gonna be repetitive but I am devastated that It’s over, I am so emotional right now I can’t even.  But if you just stop and see, just absorb it, the ending, you might also realize how just, amazing it is, sad and fucking tragic yes, but just, amazing. I just hope you guys get the message of this drama as well as I did. It was the matter of their choice. All these things had started and finished with choices, Deity was right, he throws the questions, humans finds the answer i.e He gives us “destiny/fate”, but still it’s our decision, our will can still change that fate, we can still choose, It’s up to us to whether to follow that given fate or change it. It’s Yin and Yang, It’s balanced. It has been foreshadowed how a man’s will can overcome anything, how desperation can overcome anything, how it can open doors. How did you think Shin managed to come back?   Everything is ultimately up to them. The drama showed us this old couple whom have been separated. The old lady chose to wait for her love, and her love even in death chose to wait for her to come. And that foreshadowing the ending or should I say the start of Kim Shin and Eun Tak’s life together. Sacrifices are to be made in order to be together, ultimately forever.  It started Kim Shin chose to return after he was basically sent to die in the war, the King decided, out of ignorance, to follow Joong Won’s whispers and lies, Kim Sun chose to side with his brother and to die as the sister’s traitor. Wang Yeo chose to kill himself, ultimately choosing to drink the tea of oblivion to forget the painful memories and became a reaper. It ended with Sunny accidentally expressed her sentiments towards God as well, how it is her choice, it is her life and it’s up to her if she wants her memories to be kept and what did Deity say? “I understand” so he didn’t take them.   Kim Shin choosing to stay with Eun Tak instead on having the sword be pulled and him be returned to ashes, then ultimately choosing death to save her as he learned it was the only way. Then afterwards he chose not to cross, to remain and be the rain and the first snow. Eun Tak chose to save those people, those children instead of her life,

”I questioned myself, but I was already doing it. I was really scared”

She chose not to drink the tea of oblivion to be able to find Kim Shin in her next life. Shin chose to wait to wait for her. 

But is it a cruel fate? Heck yes it is, I will forever carry this bittersweet angst inside my heart forever. But they chose a Sad but Endless love, a love that conquers the laws of man and heaven. It was the perfect finish for me, because Eun Tak was destined to die, it was inevitable because balance must be retained. Even if Shin did not return she was bound to die at the age of 29. The destiny of a missing soul. They got to meet after Shin returned, they had the chance to get memories they can treasure, they got to get the chance to meet again, yes in exchange of for waiting

Again it is cruel,cruel fate, and even though it’s hard to swallow this fact, we must. It is a sad love after all. Are they going to spend Eun Tak’s other remaining lives together? Yes, that I am sure of, and this time they don’t have to worry about Eun Tak’s safety, there is no inevitable death they always have to dodge.  They can now both be happy and continue their love, their sad but eternal love.

“She’s his first, and he chose her to be the last love of his eternal life. As well as he is to her.”

Even now, I’m still sighing while typing this, because I’m not going to be pretentious, it hurts like hell.

But their story is stuck with me, the ending is stuck with me. The ending gave off that feeling that it will never end, the show is ending sure but in the viewers hearts, it’s gonna be there forever, and that’s an amazing thing actually.  We’ll continue to be sad, we’ll think about other ways this drama could’ve ended, some of might curse the writers even. But we’ll smile, even if it hurts remembering how it ended it’s gonna bring a smile in your face (god I’m choking cause I’m trying to hold back my tears) It will continue to give off that warm feeling remembering how lovely their love story was, and how they literally, and will continue to conquer everything, even death itself. I think that’s a beautiful thing, and I hope you got that also.  We’ll be okay. It’s all in the matter of perspective.

With he heavy but filled with love and warmth heart. I am now saying goodbye to this amazing drama that is Goblin. thank you for the warmth and happiness this have brought to me, for a short period of time, it made me a very happy person, and I’ll forever cherish this story.

Ok so her acting is absolutely amazing in the drama

The way the actress pulled off the two characters so well is so amazing and it shows that she has so much talent

She is such an honest, wise, delicate, smart and soft person

But she is also the one that has been through alot

Seeing her own daughter die, seeing her husband die, seeing all the horrible shit Joo Dan Tae did, almost losing Hye In, and also watching a loved one, Logan Lee, die with her own eyes

Everytime something wrong happens you can see so much pain in her eyes that it breaks my heart to see her like that

Her plans for revenge has always been AMAZING

Like she is so smart and I never thought of the plan and it would shock me how she would execute her plan

She so soft hearted like she still cared for Hye In knowing she wasn't her real daughter and cared for her as a real daughter

She still cared for the twins even though they weren't her real kids and still cared for them when they would tell her they hate her and stuff

I also love her like intimidating girl crush side as well

I'm a big simp for her

She is so confident and her acting skills of playing dumb infront of Joo Dan Tae is amazing

Her care towards Rona is also ADORABLE

The best revenge I have seen done by her was in s1 with the like buss area and the masks

And when she held that gun and yelled

" MIN SEOL AH WAS MY DAUGHTER "

I think her honesty and the need to to justice is what made her even more of an angel

But slowly she got bearable

She has also been through alot and has felt a lot of pain

Having to raise her daughter alone, watched her own boyfriend cheat on her, her daughter getting bullied and getting kicked off the school, losing her daughter, losing Suryeon, getting together happily with Yoonchul, even though it was for the revenge you could still se she was genuinely happy with him, and then losing him AGAIN, getting blamed for her own friends death

My girl has been through a lot

But she still is strong

She came back stronger

I was absolutely shocked when I found out she was the one that threw Seol Ah off the edge

And I was even more shocked when she betrayed Suryeon and kissed Dan Tae

Girl I hope you washed your lips with bleach after that

Her confidence in S2 was so amazing I loved it

She also had a beautiful glow up when she came back

Also loved her fit's

I also liked how she didn't push her crime around and blamed it on other UNLIKE the other Hera Palace people and just admitted and felt sorry for it

And you could see just how much pain she was in and how heart broken she felt when she lost Rona

Like her only genuine friend was taken away from her

I also cried rivers when I saw how horribly she was bullied

Like they almost gave her a eating disorder

I was disappointed that even Minhyuk turned against her

THE WAY SHE SLAPPED EUNBYEOL WAS SO SO FUCKING SATISFYING LIKE

ILL PAY YOU EVERYTHING I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN

But also her beginning to dislike Rona broke my heart

Even though she wasn't entirely mad at Rona you could see it

Minhyuk caused a ruckus and threw like flour and eggs but Jenny patiently waited there and didn't want to do that

Also I feel like her rage and heart broken emotion about her mom going to jail

And seeing Rona alive just got mixed together as betrayal and disappointment and hurt

I really hope she becomes better again

Seojin had way high expectations from her and treated Eunbyeol more like a Robot rather than a daughter

And that's the times I felt and for her

Like again she craves affection and love

And only her father was there to give it to her

I think stress caused her to develop like hallucinations and other stuff

She only found comfort in that psycho housekeeper

Bc that housekeeper treated her more like a daughter than her own mom could

Like she hasn't even properly hugged her mom once

But she still a psycho that needs therapy and help

I wonder where she like vanished at the end of S2 with the housekeeper

Her past is also very hurting

I can physically feel my heart hurting when I see her struggles

I really wished we could see more of her

SPOILERS AHEAD ✔✔✔ ❣ Graduation and Reincarnations This episodes had so many feels man, I’m so proud of Eun Tak for graduating, I was so emotional when Eun tak was sitting there alone, smiling sadly as she watched other students with their parent,

 I was glad she was able to congratulate the daughter of her daughter, Samshin visited her and congratulated her on graduating and of course 

Eun Tak recognized who the red lady was.

 And when Haelmoni spoke to the teacher I was emotional too, the teacher reacted as if she had disappointed her mother, 

which she freakin’ did. I loved that scene! I thought it was gonna be forgotten how horrible of a teacher she was to her student who was obviously already struggling with life. ✎ It was so meta too! Kim Shin saw Kim Shin from Joseon period see his future through that lady serving him and his friend drink(?) It was so funny when he tried to explain what a smartphone is gonna look like. And! And! He saw Eun Tak in that period so I am definitely waiting for more of that.

❣ The death card I’m glad Shin is more honest with Eun Tak, because that’s one of the key for them to break the deity’s will and to write their own fate, they must be honest with each other and trust each other more. I’m glad they’re relationship is becoming more and more stronger.  

I feel bad for Eun Tak gosh, she’s at that point of questioning the deity again, why he so cruel to her? When Eun cried on Shin’s shoulders? God her face killed me my poor Eun Tak.

I just want her to finally enjoy the harvest of her life, for God’s sake let her! ❣ Sunny and Kim Shin’s interaction. I was glad they got to talk. We got more of the history of Wang Yeo and Sun, It was a tragic love really, they loved each other, the king loved her Queen. He wasn’t being a d*ck when he flipped that tray of medicine, he doesn’t want Sun poisoned, I just wished he explained to her! He was too blinded by jealousy and arrogance plus the whispering of that son of gun right hand of his, which brings me to this next thing.

✎ Samshin haelmoni proving again how she works in mysterious ways, It was revealed she was Gr’s Junior’s landlady, and now turns out, she’s Sunny’s too? (Still don’t think she’s the baddy here in this drama though)

❣ 184 cm tall, 2 cm heels I found it so clever yet so sad how Sunny found out GR’s real identity, the shock expression she had, her eyes swelling with tears, the confusion, the sadness on GR’s face. 

I want them to have a happy ending instead of a tragic one they had in their past lives. They didn’t deserve it. 

❣ The king’s adviser Freakin hell he’s back! Or should I say, he’s here? It did seem he waited all this time, he didn’t cross to the other side but stayed and waited to meet the Goblin’s bride? for 900 hundred years? or was he brought back?

❣ AND YOU! I’M LOOKING AT YOU DEOKHWA! 

Goodness gracious i have this nasty feeling, he’s just too freaking mysterious it makes you wonder! I just freakin know, I am like 80% sure now he’s not a normal human/person something was off with him in this episode and in the preview. How in hell did he know Sunny was Kim Shin’s sister in her past life? And that preview , was I correct with my past theory with  Deokhwa? That the reasons why he didn’t tell ET about the meaning of the message on KS’s journal is because she might not pull the sword?  Or maybe he didn’t think he she was ready to know? WTF is happening?  I NEED ANSWERS! Because this I don’t want to believe, many theories had said that Deokhwa might be an angel, a guardian angel and that’s the theory I wanna go with ;-; because he’s too precious man!

Again, this has been a roller coaster ride for my feeling. I cannot believe we’re at the Episode 12 tomorrow guys, only 4 episodes to go, they better give us 3 hours per episode because- UGH I cannot. It’s gonna be hard reviewing the future episodes cause I just want to savor the moments you know. I really wish this drama a happy ending, again like I’ve said before, I’m not that type who’s always after a Happy, perfect ending, cause sometimes.. love is tragic, but can you blame me for hoping for this drama?

💻 Wang Yeo’s junior grim reaper ↪ I’m not that surpised when I re-watched episode 7 and learned that Wang Yeo’s junior grim reaper’s land lady is Samshin. She’s really, literally, everywhere huh? Keeping an eye on Wang Yeo and those who surrounds him, “ Ever since you moved in I keep dreaming about grim reapers” And It’s weird that he doesn’t know whom he’s talking to (in episode one Wang Yeo knew who Samshin Haelmoni was, “To get the support from the Department of Names, I need to submit the record from the past nine year. You know better”

Is it because she was an Haelmoni before? Maybe because he’s a junior grim reaper and Wang Yeo has been a grim reaper for 300 years? Even Shin knew who she was immediately when he saw her. Poor guy though someone fix the tap in his bathroom! 😆😆😆

I’ve been thinking about what the plan of the Heaven is for Kim Shin. I’ve been thinking about DH as well and his purpose. 💻 Heaven’s plan ↪I have said before that I think the eternal life was not Shin’s punishment. It’s the death of his loved one, and now falling in love and then learning that if he doesn’t die, she dies. It’s to finally learn how to appreciate life then learning later that he has to give it up. But there must be more than that. It’s not only him who is about to learn something GR too, because their fates are connected. Just like Shin, being the grim reaper is not Wang Yeo’s punishment, It’s to fall in love again, to the same girl, then little by little learning about their tragic past.  The purpose of Heaven and the Deity not only involve Kim Shin but Wang Yeo as well. ✏ Side note:  I am still nothered by what Samshin Haelmoni said.
