The thing about outlander is that I really liked it when protagonist was shocking everybody around her with her unwomanly competence and skill and saving people's lives but then the Romance really started in and she was only really allowed to have sex, be big mad at what we would now classify as abuse, and almost get raped twice in the span of a couple of episodes. That last part was too much for me and I just
Like this dude has tortured jamie and attempted to rape protagonist TWICE and even more importantly is a British soldier who absolutely Terrorises the Highlands without consequence
and they walk right past his unconscious body FOR THE SECOND TIME without doing the murder (for that matter, couldn't the knock on his damn head have done the fucking job)
He also KEEPS outsmarting protagonist and I know that villains need to be not easily beaten but damn how frustrating how fucking shit
But anyway that was months ago so I'm gonna watch it again bc my mum really enjoys it
