The thing is, I just saw saw him play Ji Young Hoon in Are You Human Too?

Watching episode 43 of #EmpressKi. It is so hard for me to watch this #kdarma, not because it is bad, but it’s so stress (because it’s so suspenseful!) and tear inducing I have to stop every now and then to gather my composure. I’ve cried buckets and I know I’m still going to cry some more in the next few days because I’ve already read some spoilers. At this point, I don’t think my heart can take any more plot twist so I need to know what’s going to happen. Admittedly, I’m late in the game as this was originally shown in 2013. Not because I’m a recently #jichangwook convert, but he’s portrayal of Emperor Ta Hwan was excellent. Whereas the other characters’ feelings were veiled, and their intentions were so deeply entrenched in politics, Ta Hwan laughed, cried, loved, and raged openly. Although he did and will do wretched things toward the end, it is hard to dislike him because of his honesty. Not knowing how the woman he loved really felt for him and how he was made a puppet for a long time made all the more insecure. It’s just heartbreaking.
