When the baby was just barely one year old. There was a time when we were in Tagaytay almost every other week when he was younger, and up until recently, at least once a month, so he has so many memories of being there. I hope it gets better for Tagaytay, and most especially for Batangas. Second swim practice of the year. It’s really not a good day for me. I’ve been struggling with my breathing even out of the water as I have dry cough since the weekend; it’s as though somebody is hugging me tightly. My arms feel like they have bricks tied to them. But I’m the happiest when I’m in the water so I force myself because I know I’ll feel better after. The Koinobori. Although it’s flown to celebrate Children’s Day in Japan I’m choosing this as my good luck sign for this year, and more so, to remind me of what I aspire to be. The koi or carp is considered to be a spirited fish as it can swim upstream. I want to have the same strength and determination in all aspects of my life. I like this toasted edamame, although a friend found the taste really weird.
