10. gentle kiss
with things being as new and unfamiliar as they were physical affection wasn’t too commonplace between the two of them, even less so coming from obi-wan, but anakin had always been very TACTILE in expressing intimacy. sometimes he wanted MORE than what the bond between the two of them could offer. he enjoyed feeling obi-wan’s emotions, practically bathing in any POSITIVE feelings felt towards him. there were days when all he could feel was irritation and LOATHED the connection between the two of them, on these days he aimed to block out what the other was feeling as much as he could. today was not a day like that. being CLOSE to obi-wan was a need that was fast becoming overwhelming, even just sitting beside him would have been enough to satisfy anakin. unfortunately obi-wan had been meditating in solitude for a few hours now and anakin waited impatiently, pacing the length of the entire room as he battled the impulse to go INTERRUPT him. he had tried to sit still but it just wasn’t a task suited for him, even when he wasn’t feeling this restless. it was like an itch under his skin that could only be solved by close PROXIMITY to one person. he felt obi-wan’s approach in the thrum of his blood, in his muscles tensing. the sight of obi-wan appearing in the doorway of the room let all the tension drain from him as the air would leave a popped balloon. anakin paid no attention of the curious look being aimed at him, his CHAOTIC emotions no doubt having been sensed by his former master. he wasted no time making his way over to obi-wan, resting his head on the other’s shoulder, hands coming up to clench the fabric of obi-wan’s robe. he couldn’t explain it but he exhaled, calm ebbing into him. anakin stood for a moment, BASKING, before lifting his head suddenly, mind centered on one action now. he didn’t want to ask EXPLICITLY, for fear of being rejected but it was with a sureness from experience and the content waves of the force at the back of his mind that he approached the matter. ‘ i— i just NEED to. ’ he didn’t clarify before beginning to lean in, and not getting a sign that it was unwanted, grew more CONFIDENT. their mouths pressed together, and anakin’s eyes fluttered shut. this was a man he knew just as well as he knew himself. they were two COMPLEMENTARY halves of a whole. the kiss wasn’t anything intense, the slide of their lips was LANGUID and anakin couldn’t help but smile into it at the missed feeling of obi-wan’s beard scratching his skin. he pushed all his AFFECTION for obi-wan to the forefront of their bond, pleasure filling him at its reciprocation. breaking off the kiss, anakin rested his cheek against obi-wan’s, feeling strangely at peace. obi-wan smelt like the jedi temple, like everything that reminded him of his HOME.

my opinion on;
character in general: obi-wan kenobi is my fucking boyfriend. when i first saw ewan!obi in tpm, i had a crush on him && that was before i could fully comprehend what a crush was. i have a very high preference for females, but i have a genuine crush on him lmao it’s so bad don’t look @ my phone lockscreen. BUT - !! obi deserved better than what he got and i want to hold him for hours on end ?? and fight anyone who DARES hurt him. i am going to wrap him in a huge, soft blanket && fight the fucking sUN FOR THIS MAN LET’S GO (ง’̀-’́)งhow they play them: is this like ------- are you really asking me this though ?? it’s so evident how fantastically slayde portrays obi. she has taken a fictional character & breathes life into him not ONLY through dialogue, but through the thorough && awe-inspiring detail she uses to describe his thoughts, as well as actions. i can literally HEAR obi-wan’s voice as clear as day in my head in everything that she writes, it’s a captivating & rare experience. the mun: slayde, aw gosh --------- SLAYDE. my number one babe; my moon, my sun, && all of my stars. my inspiration, love of my LIFE, one of my biggest inspirations. i have never met someone so thoroughly gorgeous in all ways in my life, she is a genuine person who carries light with her where ever she may go. i’ve never been able to trust, open up, and/or care for someone as quickly as i have slayde. talking to her is honestly the HIGHLIGHT of my day; just being able to see her around on the dash brings a smile to my face. she’s given me something that hardly ANYONE has ever given me before, && that is TRUE HAPPINESS. she gives me a reason to wake up every day, to get out of bed, my reason to look forward to each & everyday. when i say that she is EVERYTHING TO ME, i mean that from my heart, my mind, my soul, my spirit ------------- i love slayde, more dearly than i have loved most things. i will stand by her side every day, i would follow her to the ends of the earth & back, && i will protect her to my very last breath. she is a star amidst a sea of black holes.

follow them: i follow her on BOTH of my roleplay blogs && i wish that i had the option to follow her 30 more times because w ow ,, rp with them: yES. our threads have admittedly become some of my favorite ones, && we’ve built up TWO universes and have delved so deep into them i love them so much.want to rp with them: ALWAYS. i am always coming up with new plots every day that i’d LOVE to execute tbh ,, ship their character with mine: this started out as a joke crackship, but it is literally my favorite ship. obiben has become so deeply ingrained in the blog, & i am BEYOND HAPPY about that fact.

i love slayde, i love her obi-wan, i love our threads, i love our ship, i love slayde & i’s FRIENDSHIP; i just love everything there is to slayde. i may have also cried while typing this because i get really sentimental over those that i have entrusted & care about. i love you, slayde. i always will, too. you are the obi to my ben ♥

→ the taste of blood on his lips is growing to be a FAMILIAR detail to his life, as well as the chains. had the force been closer to his grasp instead of GUIDED away by the drugs employed by his captors -- a fallen sith is an interesting OBJECT to possess, but only as long as they had been PROPERLY declawed, like dire-cats should be, when not put down. the MIST in his mind grows thicker as the grim setting of the mobile cell he’s been put into moves through UNKNOWN TERRITORIES. it’s been two years since the fall of the sith & two years since fate decided to take him as its PLAYTHING once more -- he’s grown used to the LACK of KNOWLEDGE being a slave entails, not much different than the times where his master sent him into missions that could very well have been his DEMISE.
