Words cannot describe how Kazuhisa felt at the moment. Jitsuko and Retr0 - both of them are gone, forever. They were roommates for a short period of time, along with Mimori, but it was fun nevertheless. The execution, especially the part where the television fell from the sky, reminded him of his beloved mother’s death. She also had lost her life by being struck by objects falling from a high place. Then, his stomach growled. All these unbelievable events that happened continuously definitely tired him, physically and mentally. Letting out a deep sigh, he headed his way out to the restaurant. As usual, the buffet that was prepared was unnecessarily extravagant. There were much varieties of dishes - pasta, rice, bread, steaks, and many more - but he ignored every single of them , and went straight to the desserts section. He always has a sweet tooth towards pastries. Without hesitation, he took a whole cake, chocolate flavoured, and put it onto the table. He stepped into the kitchen, and took a carton of milk from the refrigerator, and a knife from the counter. After washing his hands, he went to the table and sat down. Using the knife, he cut the cake into holdable slices, before taking one and shoved it inside his mouth. When he is about to drink milk from the carton, he noticed that there was already someone in the restaurant, sitting quite near from him. 

The construction worker lay down on the bed in his room. It was exhausting, physically and mentally. From enjoying the Hope’s Peak Academy Cultural Festival in the school building, to losing consciousness in the music room, ending up in a deserted amusement park with unknown location, then being told to murder each other by an eminent star who turned out to be a lunatic… Those inconceivable journeys that those twenty students went through was really a roller-coaster ride. No matter how hard he thought about it, he could not grasp the logic behind this. Do one really need to take another’s life to become a star? He sighed. What if they could not escape? What if someone takes her words seriously? What if... someone dies tomorrow? Those questions, however, never float in his mind. He is an optimist, and sanguine about the situation that they are facing. All of a sudden, his stomach growled. Of course, the fatigue made the bloke famished. “Pretty sure I saw something like a restaurant around here...” He turned on his ElectroID, and opened the ‘Map’ section. “Ah, it’s near the Ferris wheel. Not that far!” After a quick shower to freshen himself, he went out of the room. He then saw a tall lad who was also exiting the room in front of him.

Kazuhisa may not look like it, but he is an early bird. Waking up at six in the morning everyday, it is natural for him to wake up at the same time without an alarm here. But why do he has to wake up early? It was none other than his morning routine: morning jog. Usually, he would be jogging around the academy, but since it was his first morning here, he had no other choice.  After jogging for around half an hour, he went back to his room to take a shower. Upon drying up, he strided to the restaurant, with a rumbling stomach. When he entered the restaurant, it was empty. Well, it was early in the morning. Perhaps everyone was sleeping soundly due to occasions that happened yesterday. It’s not a dream, huh? When he was reminiscing those events, the door opened suddenly. He turned his head to see who it was. Of course, it was one of his classmates. But this one… he has never talk to her before. That didn’t stop him from greeting her, though.

It all happened too fast.

Yuin has just killed a person, in front of many people, including himself. Their blood was sprayed everywhere, and the smell of blood began to fill the entire room - enough to make Kazuhisa feel disgusted. He took a step back; he couldn't believe that something like this happened in front of his very eyes. He had never felt so useless before. He clenched his fist, and glared at Yuin. He had to do something about this, he thought. 

Then, he saw some familiar figures running towards the moral compass. It was Akiko, who suddenly jumped on her, followed by Dominic. They were quick to react - trying to immobilise her so that she wouldn't hurt anyone else. But, how about them? What if they failed, and Yuin managed to get them? Just thinking about the worst possible situation, Kazuhisa couldn't help but to worry. He's the biggest person here, so he should be one of the people who is trying to stop Yuin! Yet, why was he not there?

He could feel his legs were shaking.

Was he scared?

Him?

Out of all people?

He wanted to go out there, but he couldn't bring himself forward. Then, he realised something.

He's weak. 

He couldn't do anything, but to watch. 

It pained him. He furrowed his eyebrows, as he began to grab the podium as hard as he could, until a creak could be heard. Did he just crack the handle? What a strong fellow. However, his strength is useless if he couldn't even use it to save his friends. He could only watch - until Brynn covered all of them with some sort of paint, rendering them immobile. As the trial result was announced, Kazuhisa looked downwards, staring at his own feet. 

Kazuhisa opened his eyes, as the trial kept going without anyone responding to his raise-up-your-hand suggestion, which made him a little dejected. Or, maybe they thought it was a joke, so no one bothered to give a reaction? How rude, he was actually being serious here! He scratched the back of his head, pouting. Though, now that he give it a thought, maybe they were treating this trial very seriously that they have no time to spare for jokes? Oh, he sees it now! His classmates are so diligent and committed to find the culprit; that’s really admirable of them! Then, his expression immediately turned into a big grin.

“Kattan is right!” Kazuhisa subconsciously increased his voice, significantly louder than before, as he pretty much understood what Katahiko said. “Concave glasses are for people who are nearsighted, as in, unable to see objects at far distance, and convex glasses for people who are farsighted. But, keep in mind! In some cases, there are people who are nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other, therefore a pair of glasses may be both concave and convex.” Boy, he was lucky to have a coworker was in that exact condition, and there is a name for that, but he won’t mention that he actually forgot about it. “Also, a magnifying glass is convex by nature! We use them quite a lot during reading whiteprints and blueprints, since the words can be really small sometimes.”

When Yuin took off her jacket, revealing her tank top, Kazuhisa’s face immediately turned bright red. Getting shy all of a sudden just by seeing a girl in a sleeveless shirt? Pure, but a little pathetic. It got worse when she lifted her shirt to expose her bare stomach, which made him even more flustered, and he quickly averted his gaze, which would be opposite of what Yun had wanted. She wanted to show everyone that she is free of injuries, but how would that be achieved if Kazuhisa doesn’t want to see it? Well, at least the others didn’t give out the same response as him, so he decided to depend on them to confirm her injuries. For a person who reveals a lot of skin all the time, that kind of reaction is quite surprising.
