queued a couple of posters for lost in translation (2003) and it got me thinking about sometimes by my bloody valentine (featured in the lost in translation soundtrack). i first watched lost in translation at the start of 2024, within a month of meeting someone, and the closeness of the events makes me associate Specifically sometimes with them. and it’s not even like we resembled the characters in lost in translation, nor their relationship, it was just the proximity of time in which I had met them + watched the film. anyway over a year later we’re not speaking but there is a playlist about it. about them i guess. sometimes is in this playlist, near-ish the middle, surrounded by songs that make me think of them (not many) and songs i was listening to when i knew them (there’s more of them). there wasn’t really a point to this post i just wanted to talk :)
