I’m disappointed to hear that stays, because it really bugs me! Does it ever get identified as abusive at all?

Q and W please and thank you
Q is for Dennis Quaid, because he’s ADORABLE.
W is for waffles. My family has a Secret Family Waffle Recipe, which I make every year for my annual New Year’s Day Waffle Salon. Whenever I wake up and roll out of bed I start making waffles and then my friends come if they’re not too hungover and we hang out and talk about our year. This coming year will be the sixth!
Talk about the best party you've ever been to!
Oh man. The best party? That is a tough call. I don’t have a canonical answer for that one.
My 30th birthday was a great party. My band played with one of my favorite live bands, Corpus Callosum, at the Beery House, which is one of my favorite places on the planet. I drank an entire bottle of raspberry lambic and a fan gave me a bottle of my favorite rum. Everyone sang me happy birthday during our set. We debuted the band’s arrangement of “Paper Towns.” A friend made me a four-layer chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate ganache, which is to date the best birthday cake I’ve ever had. Plus, I just felt really good about my life and being 30 and who I was and what I was doing. It was a good night.
Y’know, I’m trying to think of another party that stands up to that one, and definitely drawing a blank. Maybe that is my canonical answer from now on ^_^
Newsies, obviously.
Now we’re talking! It’s actually really hard to pick a favorite song from this movie...“My Lovey Dovey Baby” was my favorite as a kid; I sang it for my high school jazz choir audition. But maybe “King of New York,” now.
Obviously there aren’t many female roles in this show, but oh how I would love to play Spot Conlon.

Plus Joan Rivers WORKED IN HOLLYWOOD, was constantly immersed in pop culture and media, it’s not like she was some old lady with no internet in Nebraska or something.
RIGHT like she was totally capable of learning how to use Twitter but not at all capable of learning how not to use Twitter for slurs?

Oh man, I had lunch with a friend today who was just SO UPSET about Thor being a woman because it was mythology and somehow that meant you couldn't change it, and I just kept laughing and saying "It's made up, IT'S MADE UP"
People who know more about such things than I tell me that Thor was a frog or something once, and that's Marvel canon, so I don't even know what Marvel purists are getting so upset about. If your friend was mad about NORSE mythology, then I'm very sorry to report that your friend basically knows less than nothing on the subject. I mean Laufey is supposed to be Loki's mom, not his dad; why aren't any Marvel fans pissed about that little gender switch?
While I'm on the subject, here are a few other things Marvel changed!
- Loki and Thor are both redheads- Loki is Sleipnir's mother (yep, that's Odin's horse)- Sif is famous for her golden hair- Thor rides around in a cart pulled by pissed-off goats
Holy crap, I cannot believe you met Enigma at Sears, that is AMAZING and MAGICAl, that has always been my favorite X-files episode, I can't get over it, wow
I’M NEVER GOING TO BUY ANYTHING NOT FROM SEARS AGAIN I’m getting really hungry

I was just about to watch that! Is it terrible, should I not? I just wanna stare into Elijah’s eyes.
I think it is terrible but I've thought all of that trio's films have been terrible and people seem to adore them so ymmv. It's POV though so you will get very little Elijah-eye.
