OH AND ALSO: lots of typical lead female characters (Johanna, Christine, Cosette) get lots of hate and I don’t really understand it???
OK here’s my theory::: i think most lead female characters end up being written as quite naive to get the plot going and most people are annoyed by that??
i’m not generalizing but i do think that’s what makes them get hate (though i love most of them) (by most of them i mean i’m more of an eponine than a cosette)
