You know how there's websites to get yourself a sugar daddy? Drunk Ryan makes himself a profile as a sugar babe in one for a dare while with his pals. The next morning he wakes up to a super hangover and a whole conversation with some dude in the website where they have agreed to meet in three days...
THEREâS SITES TO GET YOU A SUGAR DADDY? HOLY SHIT. Okay, so I have NO idea how those sites works and Iâm not planning on searching it, so allow me to bullshit for this:
Anyways, so drunk Ryan shouldnât be trusted playing dares with his friends. Drunk Ryan shouldnât be allowed near the internet, his phone and his credit card. And maybe these sites should have a better control for drunk idiots making profiles and putting information they shouldnât in them.
These should be, like, highprofile placesâ only serious users, adults, shit like that. AND IT IS, Itâs just that drunk Ryan and his drunk friends are good at bullshitting others and manâ when he wakes up the next morning, he has the worse headache in the story of forever and a long ass conversation with someone in his shining new, not-so-good, app.
Man, this isnât good.
Panicking, crying, vomiting later, Ryan finally speaks to Some Guy again and tells him that haha, joking, Iâm not meeting with you, likeâ never. Some Guy seems to understand, saying he should be more careful with the stupid things he does on a weekend night with a few drinks on. He is kinda nice.
Curiosity takes the better of Ryan and goes to Some Guyâs profile to find a good looking, not old at all, dude in a normal picture and a normal sounding profile. Man is from Chicago, Ryan thinks about how was Some Guy planning on making it work.
He scrolls up the conversation later that same day, seeing that he [Ryan] was the one to initiate it by saying, âhey so this app matched us!â like some idiot newie he is. After the cringe worthy moment, he keeps reading and finds out the guyâs name is Shane and heâs 32, and he is aâ fucking producer.
That kinda rings some bells on Ryanâs head, it makes sense why they matched. He scrolls down a little and finds out he was drunk enough to send him selfies. He sent him old ones, at least, where he looked fine and good, and heâs grateful he didnât embarrassed himself. He then finds that Shane sent him some, too.
Guyâs handsome. Alright, he will give him that.
By the time he gets to the last message, him telling Shane he will be careful, he is reminded that it doesnât matter how charming he sounded in this chat, and how handsome and normal he looksâ this is weird and he also does not need a Sugar Daddy anyway, so likeâ why is he hovering his finger on his phone, thinking on maybe messagin him again?
He deletes his profile, then the app and ignores the fact that he knows the guyâs selfies are still on his phone, and life goes on. Two days later, he has a meeting and he gets assigned to acompany his boss, Quinta, to an important meeting with the vice president of an important producer company his wants to work with.
Ryan is more than excited about it, this is the first time heâs been called for something like this, and he knows Quinta has been trying to pass onto him some things, giving him more chances to not only learn, but be taken in account. He thinks of that as he walks with her to their table for lunch, and when he looks up to give his hand to the man, he freezes.
âRyan, this is Mr. Madej.â Quinta says, signaling the guy he talked to over that stupid app just days ago. âHeâs visitng LA and is interested in working with us.â
Holy fucking shit.
The guys acts like if he doesnât recognize Ryan, but he is sure he does when Quinta invites him to an office gathering the next night, saying heâll be surprised of how much they know how to have fun. The guy laughs all charming and shit, and looks right at Ryan, through his very fucking soul, saying, âOh, Iâm sure Ryan here knows of that.â
He. is. so. fucked.
Fuck everything. This was NOT how he imagined his first important meeting to go.
