When Adrian married Cassandra, they’d had very specific ideas of how their marriage would work; mostly, they’d agreed to have regularly planned dates in order to “keep the romance alive.” When the twins arrived, date nights became movie nights which continued even after their losses. For Adrian, maintaining the tradition was the simplest way for him to hold unto their memories. The fact that he was allowed to do that with Katie was an added benefit. “Did you a good day,” Adrian asked, attention shifting to his child.
