Did a redraw of an 11 years old artwork of Dragonborn Johnny and @pepsiprophecy 's Dragonborn Kassian. I've been wanting to do a redraw for some time (I have some in line still). And tbh it's a moodbooster! My lines have become much bolder, the watercolors are louder and the mimic is more expressive. I love the overall more cartoony style I've developed over the past years. 🥰 (And isn't it wild how much Johnny has changed?) Of course there are still numerous flaws especially in terms of perspective, anatomy and light/shadows. 😅 The difference to 2012 is: I don't really care anymore. I used to spend days on drawings just to even out any mistake and end up not liking the artwork at all. Now the fun of creating art is more important to me than ending up with a flawless picture. 🍀
