Earth was different than when Deadlock was here last. Now the humans as a whole knew of Cybertronian’s existence and even managed to put together a task force to take them on; NEST, was it? They found out about it via listening in on Decepticon chatter.
Though these days they weren’t exactly wearing the brand, and those Decepticons they’d managed across face-to-face weren’t exactly taking kindly to that change in attire. Made certain Deadlock knew that, too.
These days, Earth didn’t feel as welcoming as it had back with Knucklehead. But their ship had finally met it’s end. It had hardly made it back to Earth as is, there was no way it was going to take off.
Multiple scuffs with former allies had the Dodge Viper that they’d scanned to try and stay hidden riddled with things most human’s cars wouldn’t be riddled with. Bullet holes, stab wounds, nasty paint transfers from aggressive fights. Though most of them were in the process of healing at this point, some were relatively fresh.
They were practically leaking an Energon trail at this point; huddled in a pick and pull they’d managed to get themselves into. Using the two days they’d been there to have a hard, needed recharge.
But that recharge was ruined when their proximity alert went off. There were other Cybertronians nearby-- a soft huff leaving the damaged Viper, and if they could they’d had tilted their helm. The question now was which side was closing in this time.
