I was first interested in Security Breach real soon after it came out ^^ I liked FNAF years ago when it first came out generally too, was a pretty early member of the fandom. I'm not sure I liked the part of it I was in, but I put a distance and took a break and kept up with the content by just watching YouTubers (mostly Marki/plier) play the games.
But I didn't know Security Breach was coming out. I literally had not seen a single thing about it. I had enough of a distance from the fandom that I wasn't really aware of any upcoming games or anything coming next. So I heard about it after its release from a friend, and went looking for little bits of content, and I saw Sun.
It was a pretty immediate attachment. I loved the design, loved the fact that he was apparently a two-sided animatronic. Even jokingly took to calling them my husbands and I gathered up whatever little bits of content I could on them at the time.
But I had a wrist injury. And I couldn't draw for a few weeks to a few months. And if I can't draw for something? I fall out of it real quick. The sparks of a potential hyperfixation went out nearly as quickly as they began.
The interest came back when someone else mentioned the jesters months later. I found the fandom had grown massively, and there was a surviving circle just around Sun and Moon. And that there were AUs and fanfics centred around them.
The fandom brought me back, then. Something that, years prior, had been rather uncomfortable for me. And it was centred around two jester robots and their potential third form, brother, villain... whatever you want Eclipse to be. And I'm pretty cosy here for now :D
