Local Girl Missing (Claire Douglas): This was a thriller and I LOVED it sm, it got me back into reading and I breezed through it so fast.

Born a Crime (Trevor Noah): Just an all-around fantastic memoir, 10/10 would recommend

One of Us is Lying (Karen M. McManus): Honestly I would die for these kiddos!!! I adored this sm

The Beautiful (Renee Ahdieh): Such a good story! I was so invested in this and it's so beautifully written. Definitely confusing but I was so into it, and I gotta read the sequel at some point.

The Face on the Milk Carton series (Caroline B Cooney): I'm ignoring the last book in the series lmaoo. But I read this as a kid bc the main character was also named Janie lol. And I was so into it. Like it's for kids but it's also about a girl who finds out she was kidnapped from her family, and there was complexity there, and I was really proud of her and the fact that it acknowledged the trauma on all ends in the story.
