Summary: Kara gets Bobbi out from Ward's claws, but that doesn't mean their relationship gets fixed overnight. But maybe with snacks and books and post-it notes and a little help from their friends, amends can be made.

Sneak-peek:

Jemma tells her that Kara is doing well with therapy and putting the pieces of herself back together little by little, and honestly, Bobbi only wishes the best for her. She imagines that, with time, Kara’s guilt will subdue and then the small gestures will stop. It is good that they are both finding paths to healing, and it is good that those paths are apart from each other.

collects rocks: kara. they feel nice and calming and dont break if you throw them at something during a spontaneous fit of anger.

takes pictures of the other while they’re asleep: kara. kara likes taking pictures of things and people in her life in general because she wants something solid she can trust if her mind starts playing tricks on her again.

gets drunk and breaks shit: kara. kara already breaks shit when she’s sober so definitely kara.

can’t swim: honestly neither of them i can’t imagine shield would let someone who can’t swim in the field.

remembers to feed the fish: bobbi. sore spot but everyone knows karas memory isn’t exactly a+ due to Reasons and she has enough on her plate getting her own normal life on track.

puts up Christmas decorations in November: kara. bobbi isn’t one for kitschy decorations in general but kara will decorate absolutely everything and after all thats happened she wants to make the most of the celebrations and happiness so bobbi is gonna have to suck it up

sends inappropriate texts and SnapChats while the other is in a meeting: bobbi. for sure.

makes Sims just to drown them in the pool: kara. but only because bobbi showed her how in an attempt to teach her some less destructive ways to handle being mad at people. 

brings the other coffee at work: depending on what their assignments for the day are, whoever walks by the coffe machine in the common room first

takes gym locker room selfies: bobbi. bobbi seems like the kind of person who’d go to the gym for fun. kara’s more the “i’m here to train so i can destroy my enemies” kind of gym person

signs them up for tennis lessons and a salsa-making class: bobbi, so kara has a reason to get out more and maybe (re)discover new passions
