We took the 8:30 PM Farinas Bus to Laoag so we wouldn't have to waste a day to get there! :) 

January 31, 2014

We arrived at around 5:30AM (If you want to get there a little later, they also have a 10:00 PM bus ride to Laoag)

7:00 AM - Ate at Dawang's 

9:30 AM - Left for Malacañang of the North 

11:00 AM - Went to Paoay Church & had lunch at Herencia

12:00 NOON - Personal Trip

1:30 PM - Went to Batac City to visit the Marcos Museum then we had our merienda/snack at Batac Empanadahan 

3:45 PM - Left for Sand Dunes for 4x4 and Sand Boarding (I advise you to leave earlier since you'd still have to reserve a slot for the 4x4 ride. Maybe leave at around 3:00 PM, but don't go there earlier than that or you'll be fried under the sun!) 

6:30 PM - Left Sand Dunes 

7:00 PM - Dinner at La Preciosa

8:30 PM - Chill Drinking & Card Games at Bristro 51

9:00 AM - Left for Pagudpod (We just orders take outs at McDonald's because we don't want to delay our trip) - It takes more or less 2 hours to get to Pagudpod from Laoag, but there will be a lot of stopovers to see some of the attractions along the way. 

OTW - Dropped by Bangui Windmills, Patapat Viaduct and The Falls :) 

(Originally, we were supposed to go to Cape Bojeador instead of the Bangui Windmills but there were tour buses in the area so we decided to move our visit to the next day since we'll pass by it again on our way home.) - It's better to explore these places when there are less people! :) 

12:00 NOON - Lunch a Kapuluan Vista Resort (Try their DINAKDAKAN! Ralph & I liked it!) 

Afternoon - Beach & Pool

Dinner - Mongolian Buffet @ Kapuluan (not that good. Hahaha!)

8:00 AM - Free Hotel Breakfast 

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM - POOL & Pack

12:00 Noon - Left Pagudpod

Afternoon - Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Cape Bojeador Lighthouse & Ella's Empanada for lunch/merienda

Night - Fort Ilocandia (We tried their Casino! Hahaha! Alyssa was so LUCKY while Ralph & I lost money. Hahaha! Never going to gamble again! :)

8:30 AM - Breakfast at Dawang's (go there early because their super yummy dinardaraan gets sold out by 10:00 AM!)

9:30 AM - Road trip to VIGAN! It takes about 2 hours to get there as well. :) 

11:30 AM - Explored VIGAN: Calle Cridolog, Vigan Cathedral, Bell Tower (You can also go to Baluarte Zoo if you still have a lot of free time) 

Lunch at Leona's then we bought pasalubong  

Afternoon - Zip Line 

2:00 PM - Went back to Laoag so we can pack our things :)

5:00 PM - Empanada Dinner & Hang Out at Bistro 51

7:15 PM - Left for the airport since we had to be there earlier than 8:00! Our flight was supposed to be at 8:45 PM but the plane left by 8:15 so BE THERE EARLY! :)
