Elend, Susebron, Elhokar, and Raoden. College AU with Tindwyl?
omg okay uh.... idk anything about Susebron or Raoden, ‘cause I still ahvent’ read Warbreaker or Elantris, but uh
I really am enjoying the idea of them all...hanging out in the library and whining about homework or classes or something. And Tindwyl is either their very long-suffering librarian who has to deal with their weekly bitch sessions and reminds them constantly that this is a library and they have to be quiet and get work done or leave and they just quiet down for like a minute and then they’re back to being loud. She’s witnessed all of their breakdowns, their oh-god-I-have-to-finish-this-ten-page-paper-before-midnight meltdowns, their exhausted, coffee-fueled pre-midterm cram sessions, and she’s torn between helping them and constantly reprimanding them. They buy her something really nice at the end of the year and she bakes them all cookies the night before finals.
she’s a professor and they are all in her class, and it’s...idk something politics. They would all 100% be in a politics class. And she has to put up with them being RIDICULOUS and questioning eVERYTHING and interrupting her lectures with valid points that spawn hour-long debates and the rest of the class is just like “dear god why are these four like this” and she’s just like. this is good because Discussion and bad because they’ve been off-syllabus since day one and there is some material she HAS to cover. All their papers are brilliant, but she’s a super harsh grader--fair, but harsh--and they all stress out in the library together trying to get their papers Correct enough for her. and she makes really difficult tests and they all panic in the library and she’s like “you guys will do fine but also muahaha this is revenge for disrupting my class all the time.”
Anyway, I don’t know which of these I like better, but if anyone who knows the characters better than me wants to take a stab at either of these, you’ve got free rein.
