On the subject of ticks, what would be the best sort of place to relocate a tick if you found on in your home? A very long time ago I found a tick in my basement and I didn't really know what to do with it or where it came from, since I lived in a suburb without any real trees or underbrush nearby.
It's hard to say without seeing the area. May have to walk a ways to place it in some long grass or bushes or something but away from yards and pets and children and whatnot!

In this case, pangolins are actually worth more on the black market dead than they are alive. The scales are used in traditional “medicine” and are consumed as a delicacy. This also counts as commercial trade in parts, which is illegal for many species under CITES. All members of the UN are party to CITES, including France, which is where the auction is based.
