BACKGROUND:

“Two groups called JVNLS (OTB + ZachariaH) and ALMTY (Kaleeks, Mino, Iman J and more) create one big collective called MA|SS. Modern Amusement|Self Served is all about having fun doing what you love and not depending on other people to do anything for you. MA|SS is a group looking to build our own Dallas culture rather than clinging to other cities' fads the way Dallas has been doing recently. We want to serve an original recipe to our city and have other cities feed off of our recipe. In doing so, MA|SS comes with heavy songs of different vibes that have yet to be released due to the focus on trying to regrow our fanbases after flatlining off of a major buzz made from opening for OG Maco and performances at FreeWifiFest.”

“Mass is neither created nor destroyed..the city's sound is here we just have to find it.” 1ST RELEASE: With that being said Kaleeks brings us his first release in a year featuring engineer and artist OTB. OTB's completely freestyled verse and adlibs combined with the liveliness and built up anger and frustration in Kaleeks' verse makes for a complete sound that needs to catch waves.

WRITE UP: YOO! This is some wavy shit I just listened to! The entire production ahead of its time, the structure of the mixing with the way KALEEKS rides the beat screams out WORK. The entire background of this new collaboration between two different sides is beautiful, to unite & create next level art must feel good. I applaud everyone involved on this first drop & especially everyone involved in the message of the brand you represent. Salute to y’all I’ll be watching more.. I suggest the public do too.
