This is Sadia Bies's illustration of Item Girl (C.S. Pōja), my most-played RPG character of all time!
Item Girl originated as the villainous nemesis of MC Trancephorm, another PC of mine; but she's become an antihero in her own right. I've played her in Vampire, Monsterhearts, My Jam, Apocalypse World, and since 2018, Masks: a New Generation.
She's a dancer, martial artist, and aspiring actor whose career derailed when her rÄkᚣasi traits manifested. Now she uses her power to hunt the wicked and protect her loved ones. If you follow my work, you know the rÄkᚣasan ties with the orc as my favorite monster.
Her outfit and armor come from an earlier mockup by costume designer Ella MacZura, adapting kathakaḡi dress into supervillain garb. Her weapon, a floating killer seven-pointed star, is the Rakᚣastraáš â the celestial missile form of
@shakespeares-gm's Masks PC, Star Sentinel.
Sadia drew from references including 18th-century statuary and illuminations, historical armor, modern illustration, kathakaḡi performances, kaḡarippayaášášĹ demonstrations, and of course item numbers from Indian film. When it comes to blood and fangs, they're the best.
Sadia's illustration aims to tell strories through unusual combinations of visual elements. Their work focuses on the human form, new interp

In the middle of the Elmdrhe forrest was a grothra, and his name was Gari Kiplier Tuke Tieâest. Descendant of Kelfn Noitanigami Gelto, son of Kadyr who was the first child to be born on Growalectalep. Gari was out hunting he was nearing a pack of four wild harget. He could see them from behind the trees he knocked his bow and took aim. He shot and hit his mark the other three harget fled at the sound of the bow. He went forth to collect his kill and begin his journey back home to Kiplier.Â
âI wonder if Auntie will expect me home this early?â Gari wondered. âI mean Iâve never had this successful of a hunt, matter of fact neither has Kalari come to think of it. Now I have at least one thing I can say I am better at than her, sheâs gonna love that.â he says laughing to himself.
After awhile he realised that he would need to run if he were to make it home before nightfall. He put the legs of the harget over his shoulders and broke into a sprint to rival even the fastest of men. He reached the borders of Kiplier just as Agorednocit set over the hills of Gethla. Geri walked the streets of the town, just as his friends, Yaui Kiplier Rai Haluri and Jaf Kiplier Noond Ballat came running from the market with armed bishops on their tales.
âGari!?â Yaui exclaimed, âwhat on the gods green ground are you doing here?â
âYeah, your supposed to be hunting not sneaking around the town.â Jaf added.
âI got lucky and hit my mark on the first try, albeit I was only able to get one before nightfall, but itâs better than nothing.â Gari said pulling the dead harget off his shoulders.
âThe horns on this one, are so small are you sure he will be able to feed you, your cousin, and your Auntie?â Jaf asked.
âYou know we can help you if if you need it, if it wasnât for your damned uncle you would have the thrim to buy meat at the shop rather than having to hunt everyday.â Yaui said cursing in the sinners tongue.
âWatch your mouth, you know if. . .â Gariâs words where cut short when the bishops came up behind them swords drawn.
âAnd just who do you two think you are spitting on the altar of Norwesd,â Gari gave his friends a dirty look, âand who are you hanging out with these two vandals, now scram if you donât want to be treated as on of them.â
âHe is Gari Kiplier Tuke Tieâest descendant of Kelfn Noitanigami Gelto, son of Kadyr.â Jaf spat at the bishops. Gari gave an annoyed look at his friend, then nodded. The bishops then sheathed their swords and gave a small bow then left heading back for the temple.
âI hate you.â he said looking a Jaf, âyou on the other hand need to watch your tongue, you know very well that your friendship with me is the only thing protecting you as it is, but if one of the towns folk hear you speaking in the sinners tongue I will be able to do nothing to save you, the same goes for you Jaf, any slip up in your native tongue and you will be killed.â
âSinners tongue, it is called retupmoc and our families believed it was the tongue of Zoccra the god of purity.â Yaui said.
âYeah, but what they didnât know was that the main landers hate us and everything to do with us, if they did we would be at home with are families alive and well singing praises to this god of purity. Tyc czjn vdvbâc kbv bwx xj khj kowbj. Jaf said to Yaui saying the last part in retupmoc.
âWe are not, we have each other and Gari.â he responded hugging Jaf, âand that is more than enough, anyway back to what I was saying before we were so rudely interrupted, we can help you Gari if it is coin you need.â
âYour help is not the kind I nor any of my kin want, especially after my uncle, come it is dark and the sisters shall soon rise, have dinner with me, I am sure my Auntie will not mind.â Gari said making for his home with his friends in tow. When they reached the house the flame of a fire shown through the windows, Jaf and Yaui stayed back when Gari approached the door, Gariâs aunt was known for angering faster than a Krro with a knife in his leg and it was this that made Gari wish he could be back with his friends away from the line of fire. His knuckles were just about to hit the door when it was thrust open by his aunt.
âAnd by what gods do you think you can just come back here without meat!? Hmm!?, hmm!? None I see. . .â she screamed at him.
âAuntie I do have meat see,â he pulled the harget up by its feet, âI also have friends who have empty bellies and would be delighted if you would feed them?â
âWho is it, you wouldnât dare bring Jaf and Yaui back here would you. . .â she looked over his shoulder and saw them staring down at their feet. âFine. I will feed them on one condition, they will not speak a letter in the sinners tongue in my presence, and just know I will hear it if they do and I will report them to the Monks.â she said turning back inside with the dead animal in her hands. Gari turned and waved his friends inside.
âShe said she will feed you as long as she hears naught of your native tongue.â
âFine, but she better not ask any stupid questions about us again it gets harder to speak your tongue when she pisses me off.â Yaui says going inside to sit by the fire.
âCan do, oh by the way is your cousin here?â Jaf asks.
âDonât know, but you should know she is starting to wonder if youâll ever ask for her hand in marriage.â Gari says.
âI want to but I donât have any money to provide for her.â he says heading inside and calling for her.
âSheâs not home, she went to the temple to pray for⌠things.â Gariâs Aunt says.
âI am now Auntie, I heard Jafâs voice right?â Kalari says looking around for Jaf.
âThat you did my dearest.â Jaf says coming from behind the staircase.
âI missed you.â she says kissing Jaf.
âAnd I you, I nearly forgot how red your eyes and hair truly were.â Jaf said moving to a chair by the fire.
âKalari I wouldnât do that where Auntie might see.â Gari said sitting on a stool laughing at the worried looks on his cousins face. Yaui was braiding his jet black hair for it came undone while he ran from the bishops.
âCurse the mouth on you cousin, if it werenât for those untelling yellow eyes in your head I would know the truth from you.â
âMy eyes is it why not my hair or my skin. But accusing me of lying by the blue blood in my veins I never lie, I never said Auntie could see you, only that she might see you.â Gari laughed out.
âGari if you never lie then I am not purple.â Yaui scoffed out in disbelief.
âName one time Iâve lied, Iâll wait.â Gari spoke confidently smiling till he saw Jaf smile.
âThat one time at the temple, the time at the market, the time at the. . .â
âYes we know Gari lies about his name and other things, I on the other hand will not lie about my name I am and always will be, Jaria Noitanigami Holestfer conjariupaestful.â Auntie said with the air of being pure and clean.
âWe know you are mother, as does everyone in the town, though not for the reasons I would like.â Kalari says to her mother taking a seat at the dining table along with everyone else.
âBefore we eat we must thank the gods for they provided us with this meat and we thank those who provide, we praise Norwesd the goddess of all gods, and kahnpadpyre the goddess of life. . .â
âThis I forgot about this your auntie prays longer than I take to say her name and it takes me a good long while to say here name.â Jaf said his belly begging for the food before him.
âThat she does but after hearing for a couple of years you learn to block it out.â Gari whispers to Jaf.
âAnd to Alam the god of war, who gave us the power to hunt and fight, may this prayer please you and let us fill our bellies.â Auntie finished and they ate. âYaui how are you? Have you seen any other Zoccrists?â
âAuntie.â Kalari says in a warning tone.
âNo, but I will tell them to sacrifice you to Thgirweniaw if I do.â Yaui replied his eyes never leaving his plate, he slowly looked up and cursed her in krroic.
âWhat did you just call me!?â Auntie said in a warning tone.
âI called you a gcbtr.â Yaui said calmly standing.
âI am no such thing, you foul creature it was a blessing your family died but a curse you survived, you hcaip.â Yaui ran at her dagger in hand.
âCall me what you will but Iâll be damned to hear you speak of my people, you ybpwvon xzwhj.â Yaui said holding the blades tip at her throat.
âYaui leave her alone or we are no different than our own, leave her alone or I will leave your side as a friend and brother.â Jaf said standing hand on his own blade. Yaui moved the blade and left the house.
âI will need to go after him Kalari, make sure your Auntie knows I am sorry, I will miss you my love.â Jaf said following Yaui.
âYou really need to help Jaf get Yauiâs anger under control, he angers faster than mother, and she angers fast even for a grothra.â
âI know, but that can be done tomorrow, the sun will rise soon and I want to be asleep before it does. See you in the morning.â Gari says heading up the stairs to the farthest of the three rooms. He opens the door takes off his shirt and sandals and falls on to the bed to venture the land of sleep guarded by the sister moons Artlu and Jrustcor. That night he dreams of an angry shadow of black and red and the death of many pain the heart of six shadows of white light. He is awoken by the sounds of pots and pans clanging together, He pulled his shirt back on and slipped his sandals on and ventured down stairs. When he turned and saw the kitchen he saw it was Kalari rather than Auntie making breakfast.
âWhere is Auntie?â he asked his voice thick with sleep.
âShe is asleep still, but I grew hungry so I decided to make some lemon wheat.â she responded without turning to look his way.
âSmells great cousin, have you heard any news about the rebellion against grothra-cnys, grothra-leic, and nilffin?â he asks grabbing a slice of the cake.
âNo i havenât been out yet, you should go find out and bring the news back to me.â she says turning from him.
âAre you okay? Your not are you, youâve been crying, why were you crying?â Gari asks concern for his cousin crawling on his face. She turns and starts crying on his shoulder.
âIts Mother she said I am not allowed to see Jaf again as long as I wish to remain under her roof.â she said in between tears.
âIâll talk to her, make her see some sense and remember that your her daughter and she loves you, but for now you need to get out and breath the air of the forrest it will help calm you maybe we can find Jaf and explain the situation.â Gari says holding his cousin by the shoulders and giving her a look of hope and kindness.
âYeah, yeah that sounds good, maybe I can jog around the town a couple of times before lunch.â she stands taller and holds herself like a proud Ember-kin. They left and made for the market at the center of the town.
âYou know Jaf wants to marry you.â Gari says casually.
âThen why doesnât he go and do it already I have hinted that I would love nothing more than to be his wife I have even resorted to having you tell him out right yet he still hasn't done it.â she says pulling a coin sack out of her pant pocket, âWe are growing low on coins, soon if we do nothing about it we will have nothing.â she says her mind still saddened by love.
âFirstly he want to marry you, he feels that because he has no coin he will be unable to provide for you and make you happy, secondly I thought I told you I am to take a position at Jarteeâs shop in seven days.â Gari says looking around for a traveler from towns outside the forrest.
âWhat I have never heard of this from your tongue nor my mothers.â she says shocked.
âReally? Oh well, you know now, anyway I think I see a traveler from the north, maybe he has news on the rebellion come on lets go ask him.â Gari says leaving his cousin behind to ask the stranger.
âHello excuse me but do you have any news relating to the rebellion?â Gari asks eagerly.
âYes though it may not be the kind you want to hear, the leader Nissassa Ailseb Coulor Galetha has gained many followers and is rumored to have the trust of the krro, with his new found power he is planing to kill every grothra and grothra-kin he deems impure, and let me warn you he is no longer planing but doing I very nearly escaped Halgi if it werenât for the slow-mindedness of the Krro I would be dead, and to answer your question Iâam a blood feeder so you need fear no harm from me palemi.â the traveler uttered the last word like a curse.
âThank you for the news, and I am sorry for your troubles.â Gari said turning away to think about this news.Â
What will this Nissassa do, what has he done, how far will he go to achieve his goal, it would seem pretty far to make deals with the scum of the ground Krro. I wonder how far he will get before the clans fight back, I wonder if I should do something to stop him?
âGari are you hungry?â Kalari asks.
âWhat, oh yeah I guess.â he responds snapping out of his trance of thought.
âOkay where should we eat? We could go to the the Holy Cup, or the Green Days?â she asks trying to orient herself in the town.
âI like the Green Days more, better apple blooms and the best lemon cider ever like I wish I could only drink it, but Hassau wonât give me the recipe.â
âAwww that's so sad if i cared I might even cry, we go this way then.â she says in a tone driven by hunger.
âWait I need to do something first.â he then picked up a stick and began to draw in the dirt a symbol similar to a five sided circle with two lines through it.
âWhat was that?â Kalari asks.
âIt was a way to tell Yaui and Jaf that we are at the Green Days, every day we check this road at least twice to see if one of the others has left a mark and if there is one it tells us where to meet the others.â Gari says holding the door to Green Days open for his cousin. He walks in and is assaulted with many smells of lemon, apple, and a strong waft of body odor. The room has some tables surrounded with two to three chairs, a bar at the far end of the rectangular room, the walls once were green, but now look a moss and wether that is because of age or actual moss Hassau will never say. Gari looks around and finds a table with three chairs and walks his cousin over to it and sits down. They sit in silence till one of the workers comes over to take their order.
âWhat do you two want.â the waiter asks obviously irate and impatient.
âI would like a sobubaco bun, with some lemon cider.â Gari says happily ignorant of the waiters mood.
âI would like the same.â Kalari says pulling out the coin sack and paying the waiter seven deovi. The waiter walks away in the direction of the bar to collect their order.
âSo what news did the traveler have?â Kalari asks.
âNothing great, he says that the leader of this rebellion Nissassa, has gained the trust of many including it is rumored the krro. He also said that this rebellion has began to kill off all the grothra and grothra-kin this Nissassa has deemed impure, he said barely escaped with his life, and that I neednât fear him because he was a blood feeder, he was a real grothra-leic that is like the first time I have ever actual seen one with my own eyes, though I couldnât tell anything was different till he told me, he also called me a palemi but like it was a curse.â he said ending in a bitter resentment for the traveling stranger.
âWell then, at least it is nothing to big yet maybe the teachers will help or maybe the Kigam families will, that would be amazing to be able to hear and maybe even possibly see a trebqu do some magic, you know how I love magic it is the most beautiful thing ever.â Kalari says before Jaf sneaks up behind her and sits down in the only other chair leaving Yaui to pull one up from a nearby table.
âSorry about last night.â Yaui says straining to be calm about it and not begin his usual rant about how his people are treated worse than dirt among the main landers.
âYeah I gave him a talking to after that and it seemed to have calmed him down a little at least for the moment, how did your auntie react to it hopefully it was better than what I am thinking.â Jaf says asking no one in particular.
âAccording my mother if I wish to continue living under her roof I am to no longer see you.â Kalari answers.
âOh well⌠I guess we should stop seeing each other.â Jaf says as if it is decided.
âWhat no we can still see each other but I just need to find a new place to live, like with you.â Kalari says in a sweet and loving tone.
âWell I mean that would make the most sense, so yeah I guess you can live with me⌠wait no your not living with me my house is barely big enough for me what makes you think you can live with me anyway?â
âProbably the fact that I am your girlfriend of three years and it is about time we moved in together anyway.â
âOh yeah about that I know that you want to marry me, but I donât think you should I have nothing to give you, I have no money I am one slip-up away from being killed and I have almost no chance of getting a job.â
âI love you, you big stupid idiot I donât need all that I just need you, and I am going to take that loving look on your face as a yes to this weirdly worded two sided marriage proposle.â Kalari says kissing Jaf and beaming with nothing other than pure happiness.

Kalari and Ayurveda- two fruits of the same tree planted by sages
 By Guru Yogi Shivan
Spirituality is Indiaâs gift to the world. Rishis, the ancient sages, who wrote the hymns of the Vedas, in their quest for the ultimate truth also gave to the mankind vast knowledge for the fulfillment of a meaningful life. It was these great sages and seers, who through their meditative prowess identified and developed the medicinal system of Ayurveda and the martial art form Kalaripayattu also known as Kalari for the upliftment of society and mankind as a whole.
For those unfamiliar with the ancient way of living, it may sound surprising as how can a seer or a sage can be guru (teacher) to a martial art form or how can he develop a system of medicine with elaborate description to the medicinal value of plants and treatment of diseases. To add to this âBharatanatyamâ is one of the oldest and popular classical dance form in India. The origin of this dance form can be traced to the sage Bharata Muni, a Rishi who wrote the book âNatyashastraâ. Â Such was the contributions of these great ancient sages that they touched every sphere of life.
Kalaripayattu or Kalari is the first and the mother of all martial art form in the world. The Kalari originated in South India and there are two styles in practice. The Guru of Thekkan (southern) Kalari is sage Agastya and guru of Vadakkan (Northern) Kalari is warrior sage Parasurama. Though the real recorded accounts of the ancient Indian history has faded away with time, due to a series of invasions that India underwent, there was undoubtedly a rich Indian culture and tradition that created a healthy society. This glorified past of the land Bharatam or Bharat which later came to be called as India can still be traced in various parts of the country and in Southern state of Kerala in particular. A number of South Asian martial arts are believed to have originated from Kalari and still shares many similar fighting styles.
Of these Kalari, other than being a martial art form has various dimensions to it and was developed for a greater cause. It was a martial art form practiced by men and women of all ages thereby building a healthy society. They specialized in one or more of the important weapons of that period including the spear, sword and shield apart from various techniques of fighting with bare hands. Kalari tournaments were often held with much pomp and splendour and these arenas were also the recruiting ground for the warriors of erstwhile Kingâs army.
The medical side of Kalari â Masters turned healers
Kalari also has a medical side to it. The masters of Kalari were also well versed in the art of healing which was taught to the disciples. This was incorporated in the martial art form by the seers so that those practicing Kalari were also able to keep diseases at bay. Also, they could heal if anyone of the fellow mates was wounded in the practice or during the actual performance of the martial arts. Those who learn Kalari are also taught various aspects of the human body as the flexibility of body, focused mind and the correct moves are considered vital elements in Kalari. The control of breath ( Pranayama) and its various manifestations were put to good use in the Kalari on the outer level. The master of Kalari is called as Gurukkaal and even today many approach them for treatments of various ailments mainly outer injuries, muscular problems and even broken bone. The masters of Kalari were learned scholars in various marmam - vital points in the human body. When in the battlefield, if the use of these vital points in the body was to neutralize the opponents, back home, it was used to cure diseases and has a medical purpose to it. Marmashastram (Science of Marmam) stresses on the knowledge of marmam and is also used for marma treatment. Kalaripayattu teachers were also qualified experts in various forms of massages (uzhichil) with medicinal oils. This they gave to students to increase physical flexibility and to develop a healthy body. It was Kalari that lend the massages to Ayurveda system of medicine. Thus, we can see how Kalari is closely knitted to Ayurveda and Yoga.
Though Kalari in ancient Kerala was practiced by women and men, still there were people who were unable to practice it. Mostly, young children and old people. When a Kalari practitioner was able to fight diseases affecting his body through various means of practice as laid down in Kalari, there was a need for proper treatment mechanisms for the common man. This is where the Ayurveda came in. The vision of the great Indian sages was so vast that they bridged this gap by formulating Ayurveda system of medicine.
The great Ayurveda system was developed by these sages not only by the trial and error method but also through immense knowledge they acquired by their intense meditation. Â It is claimed that even these sages were able to transform themselves in their deep meditative state to match the level of a plant to unravel their medicinal values and pass it on for the betterment of the mankind. The medicines were developed for both internal and external application. The modern-day medicine through their intense research and various laboratory tests are now slowly accepting the fact that various medicinal use of plants as laid down in Ayurveda are indeed true. But it may require many years for the western scientific acumen to fully grasp the knowledge that Indian seers gave to the mankind.
Having said this, though the Western reductionist science does not have space for the findings of the Indian seers, the newly evolved quantum physics has come very close to ancient Indian philosophy. German physicist, Hans-Peter Durr, who put forward the duality principle in quantum physics had said that he is just playing the second fiddle to the ancient Indian sages who taught the great Advaita philosophy to the world.
The spiritual side of Kalari â Joining the dance of the cosmos
The martial art form Kalari has a spiritual nature attached to it. Envisaged and passed on to the disciples by the great sages, Kalariâs spiritual side is little known today to the modern world. But those who practiced Kalari and went out in search of the ultimate truth that connects a human being deep within and outside were able to recognize the spiritual side of Kalari. The great warrior masters âChekevarsâ as they were called, through arduous practice of the martial art indeed were able to identify and tap this huge spiritual potential attached with Kalari. The great sages Agastya and Parasurama passed this vital aspect in Kalari to their disciples and it was passed on from one generation to the other by the Kalari gurus. These âChekavarsâ apart from Kalari also practiced âDyanaâ or meditation and were able to tap the cosmic energy.
It is said that a âChekavarâ never tastes defeat on the battlefield. Â Kalari is practiced in âKalamâ which can be translated as Kalari arena. Once the Chekavar declares a fight with an opponent (usually another Chekavar) they start Vritham (penance) and involves in âDyanaâ or meditation. Till the day of the fight, the Chekavar involves in these practice in the Kalari training centre. If a Chekavar does not return from the arena of the fight it means he is dead. That means the great Kalari warrior fights till the last breath and joins the dance of the cosmos once he leaves the body. That also implies that he never returns to bear the weight of a defeat. Thus, every Chekavar remains undefeated.
In a way, we are all Chekavars. This life of ours is the arena where âweâ the warriors are constantly fighting diseases. Â We should all be duty bound to lead a complete and meaningful life to evolve victorious. Kalari, Ayurveda, Yoga and all those passed on to mankind by the great sages of India will be a guiding light.
HHmm. I donât know if Kalari means fish so much as it means⌠a few things. Itâs a shortening of Kalaripayattu for one, but in Tamil it also means âwarâ or âbattlefield.â If we still want to take from the Kalaripayattu origin, you might want to go with Matsya, from Matsya Vadivu, the Fish Posture, a posture used for building balance and core strength.Â
Amanzi does mean water, though (in a few different languages) as well as being a⌠swimsuit brand? So thatâs fitting!
Matsya Amanzi
Universe: alternate Alternia
Age: six sweeps
Lusus: Glyâgodyb
Sign: Pirius
Trollian Handle: errr
You havenât given me a Ton of interests to work with here outside of swimming, but because her name has a martial arts origin I think we should pull in some of that- her liking martial arts and meditation techniques on top of her meditative view of swimming. Keeping that in mind, we can probably make her handleâŚ
martialNatator.
Weapon: a double sided trident split in half
Tridents are popular among fuchsias, so I agree. Maybe she broke it in half by accident while Doing martial arts lol.
Fetch modus: Mystery door modus
Iâm not sure what this is supposed to mean. Like, a gameshow thing where she has to pick one of three doors and the item is revealed to her? I guess thatâs fair, with her hopey theme.Â
Quirk: (8)nstead of âIâ She has these: (8)
God tier: Sylph of Hope
Passive creator of Hope⌠I think I do like that with the personality you have for her. You gotta remember with her personality that hope players tend to have strong Convictions. When youâre looking over and building her personality, you have to create a moral code for her- something she believes in and is going to accomplish no matter what, kind of. She has to be someone who helps create options and optimism, someone who heals peopleâs spirits when theyâre down. Her inverse is Prince of Rage, which means she has to destroy negativity and anger and restriction.Â
Land: Land of Underground Rivers and Despair
Usually when thereâs a two word name in a land, itâs to make a pun (See: LOLCAT- Land of Little Cubes and Tea). LOURAD unfortunately isnât a pun, so Iâm going to recommend Land of Cave-ins and Despair instead.Â
Lunar sway: Derse
I donât want to change her sign, so she has to stay derse, but that means youâre going to have to kick up the innate dissatisfaction a little. She has to be uncomfortable with something. Not just nervous about her position, but Not Fond of the way things are, you have to make anxiety about the future a more prevailing force in her character. Not Overwhelming or anything, just something in there that sheâs railing against because thatâs what makes someone derse instead of prospit. Derse is Fighter, prospit is Adapter.Â
Ancestor: the Ultimate Dictator, a conqueror of many planets and a cause of havoc in the session sheâs in. She caused the argument between Kalari and other in her session that ended up with her death and ascension to god tier. Her dancestor, Maikai Amanzi is a bit kinder but was manipulated into killing everyone in her session
Personality: Kalari is always happy to give advice. She always tries to cheer people up, and advises people about everything. Sheâs generally accepting of all bloods, not caring about the hemospectrum. But thatâs just because sheâs a highblood. She doesnât have anything to worry about. Except fighting the current empress once she becomes of age. Sheâs incredibly nervous, and doesnât want to fight.
Kalari doesnât know whatâs its like to be a lowblood, and because of that, doesnât know about their horrific everyday life. she even thinks swimming is the solution to everything.
This is really a good starting base for her character. Since I added martial arts and meditation above, maybe she uses those as tactics to fight her anxiety about the future. Maybe she could like, try to force this method on others and not understand why that and swimming donât just WORK for everyone. It gives her room to grow as a sylph of hope- having to understand how to Actually create encouragement and positivity for everyone.Â
Design time:
Crown: the big block of gold just looked a little awkward, so I gave her a more delicate and shiny crown!Â
Face: I gave her some eyebags as is necessary for the style. Her mouth was also too close to Feferiâs, so I gave it some edits to set it apart.Â
For the rest there was just some light outline editing to make things more visible!Â
